Ging stood to the side, watching the sky. "This time, it's for real."
Netero chuckled. "Ho ho ho, that'll be up to you."
Ging stepped forward, placing himself in front of Netero.
The pope finished his incantation. He raised his staff and pointed it straight at the sky.
A massive magic circle appeared overhead, and a spatial gateway materialized out of thin air.
The God of Light flew out of the gateway.
He stood three meters tall, with a golden body, sharply defined features, and robes of soft white satin.
Three pairs of wings spread several meters wide behind him.
The feathers on his wings were clearly visible, every one of them glowing.
He hovered in front of the pope, looking down at Netero and Ging on the ground.
The pope knelt on the ground, trembling. This was the God of Light in his true form.
The God of Light ignored him, and ignored Ging as well. Instead, he looked at Netero.
Clearly, he had seen his avatar's memories.
"Interesting." His voice boomed like thunder, making even the ground shake.
Ging raised his head to look at him. "You're the God of Light?"

A ball of light shot from his fingertip toward Ging at an astonishing speed.
Ging simply raised his right hand and punched the incoming ball of light.

The blast was deafening, as though someone had punched a pile of explosives.
The God of Light's projectile shattered.
Ging remained where he stood, smiling as he shook out his right hand.
