The mass of air descended from the sky and slammed into the open ground outside Elf City's east gate.
With a boom, the ground shook.
Dust rose, then scattered in the wind.
Two hundred and thirty-seven elves stood inside the mass of air, all astonished by the flight they had just experienced.
"We're here," Kite said.
Leaning on her Wooden Staff, the Elf Queen raised her head, ready to see the city the elves had built.
The next moment, she froze at the sight before her.
Concrete walls fifty meters high stood before them, with searchlights mounted on top.
A Purple Smoke Soldier stood every twenty meters along the walls. They were practically using Morel as an entire army.
There was no helping it, though. His Nen Ability was uniquely suited to the task.
Set into the wall were more than a dozen iron doors, copied from the Zoldyck Family's front gates. But the first door alone weighed dozens of tons, with each successive door heavier still.
These formed the city gate, and the words "Elf City" were carved above it.
Kite stepped forward and pushed the gate open with force, explaining things to the Elf Queen as he guided them inside.
When they heard Kite describe how much the doors weighed, the elves were utterly stunned, staring back at the massive gates in amazement.
But soon, the surroundings inside the city drew their attention.
Beyond the gate ran a straight concrete road, its surface level, with drainage ditches on both sides.
Houses lined the road, and several particularly tall buildings could be seen at its far end.
The houses had tiled exterior walls and glass windows that reflected the sunlight, making the street look like part of a luxurious city.
