As the airship passed through the clouds, Odin rose from his seat and walked over to the window to look outside.
A sprawling city lay below, its buildings packed together like piled-up blocks.
High-rises stood side by side, their glass facades reflecting the sunlight in a dazzling glare.
Streets crisscrossed the city, with cars moving like ants along those lines.
Farther away, he could see a harbor with dozens of ships docked there, the sea shimmering in the sunlight.
"We're here," he said.
Ponzu rose from her seat, walked over beside him, and looked outside too.
"It's huge," she said. "Even bigger than the city around Heavens Arena."
"Yorknew City is one of the largest cities on this continent," Odin said. "Every September, people come from all over the world to attend the auctions."
Ponzu stared out the window without saying anything.
The airship began its descent. The airport here was some distance from downtown Yorknew City.
After disembarking, Odin and Ponzu were about to take a taxi.
On the way, however, they spotted an imposing procession passing nearby.
They looked over and saw a group of people in black escorting a young girl toward the exit.
"So many Nen users?" Ponzu sounded surprised as she studied the few people in the group who were clearly different from the rest.
"Well, mobsters are a little more afraid of dying," Odin said with a smile.
Ponzu pointed at a familiar figure in the group. "Isn't that Kurapika? He became a bodyguard for the mafia?"
Odin followed her finger and did indeed spot Kurapika. "Come on. That's his business, not ours."
"True." Ponzu nodded and followed Odin out of the airport.
