Odin stepped out of the darkness.
He walked slowly, one step at a time, his feet making a faint rustling sound in the wild grass.
Ponzu and the others followed five meters behind him, all ready for battle.
Machi stared at Odin, her pupils contracting.
"It was you," she said. "The one watching us last night."
Odin ignored her.
He looked over the Spiders before him one by one, as though sizing up his prey.
"Four," he said. "Two billion each. Eight billion. Not bad."
Phinks clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking, and laughed in anger. "This bastard-"
Feitan said nothing, his hand resting on the umbrella sword at his waist.
Nobunaga stepped forward, drawing his sword halfway. "You have a death wish."
Odin smiled. "Well, you were the ones making such a fuss. The Mafia put a huge bounty on you. Passing that up would be a terrible waste."
Nobunaga charged.
He was fast, but his sword was faster.
From two meters away, his blade flashed, slashing straight at Odin's neck.
Swish-
The blade passed through Odin's neck, but Nobunaga felt no joy.
He hadn't felt it hit anything at all.
An afterimage-
The next second, Nobunaga suddenly felt a crushing blow to his back.

Nobunaga went flying backward, toward Gon and Killua in the distance.
Thud-
Nobunaga slammed into the ground. His chest tightened, his breath caught, and a mouthful of blood sprayed straight out.
Gritting his teeth, Nobunaga tried to attack Odin again.
"We're your opponents." Gon and Killua blocked his path.
With none of the restraint he had shown in the original story, Nobunaga's gaze hardened, and he slashed at Gon and Killua.
Their expressions changed, both feeling overwhelming pressure.
