The Masked Man attacked Kirigakure and defeated Chōjūrō after his attacks repeatedly passed through the Masked Man’s intangible body. As the Masked Man prepared to take the unconscious Mizukage, an ANBU girl stood in his way and a middle-aged woman arrived to confront him.

• The Masked Man killed most of the Kirigakure ANBU who tried to stop him at the village outskirts.
• Chōjūrō arrived and attacked the Masked Man with Hiramekarei and several Water Release techniques, but the attacks passed through him.
• Chōjūrō managed to catch the Masked Man briefly, then fought him until the Masked Man kicked him unconscious.
• An ANBU girl stood between the Masked Man and the unconscious Chōjūrō despite her fear.
• The Masked Man sensed someone approaching, and a middle-aged woman used Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique to force him to dodge.

Mei Terumi arrived to rescue Chōjūrō and battled the Masked Man, whose intangibility let him evade her attacks. As the fight continued, Mei recognized his ability and vented her anger while the Masked Man searched for a way to overcome her relentless assault.

• Mei Terumi arrived as the Masked Man prepared to take Chōjūrō, and she ordered Xiao Qiao to carry the injured Chōjūrō away.
• Mei Terumi concealed the area with Hidden Mist and Boil Release mist, forcing the Masked Man to retreat from the corrosive fog.
• Mei Terumi tricked the Masked Man with a prepared Lava Release attack and a water whip, but his intangibility let him escape unharmed.

• Meihui used Flying Thunder God to reach Kirigakure and rescued the exhausted Mei Terumi from the Masked Man.

Meihui fought the Masked Man and recognized his intangibility as the same ability Obito had used. After transforming into Rin Nohara and calling the man by Obito’s name, Meihui stirred painful, confused memories in him, leaving their identities unresolved as the Masked Man demanded to know who Meihui was.

• Meihui attacked the Masked Man, whose intangibility let him evade the blows and a Big Ball Rasengan.
• Meihui recognized the ability from Obito and transformed into Rin Nohara to provoke the Masked Man.
• Meihui called the Masked Man “Obito,” triggering painful memories and a glimpse of red in his eyes.

Meihui Uzumaki forced Amado to explain Kara and the Masked Man's origins, then heard why Amado wanted to defect to Konoha. He accepted Amado's proposal provisionally but questioned whether the Masked Man truly obeyed him.

• Meihui restrained Amado and the Masked Man and demanded that Amado explain who the masked man was.
• Amado revealed that the Masked Man was a clone made from Obito Uchiha's cells, and explained how Jigen had founded Kara to develop a vessel for his reincarnation.
• When the Masked Man asked whether he was merely a copy, Meihui and Amado reassured him that he was an independent person whom Amado had come to regard as his child.

• Meihui transformed into Rin, causing Mask to convulse in pain until Meihui ended the transformation.
• Meihui transformed into Kakashi, and Mask charged at him, demanding that Kakashi give Rin back.
• Mask said that Kakashi’s face brought back images of the person who killed a girl, making him feel pain and want to attack but unable to do so.

• Meihui gave each squad a Flying Thunder God Kunai and set off alone for Kara's Alternate Dimension, while Naruto and Sasuke stayed in Konoha as backup.
• Kara members attacked Sunagakure for its tailed beast, but Gaara killed them all with his sand.

Code discovered that the Ten-Tails had vanished from its confinement and fought Meihui over it through a Claw Mark, ultimately tearing the beast in two before passing out. Meihui brought the remaining half back to Konoha, sealed it in his Alternate Dimension, and turned his attention to Uchiha Sasuke’s weakening Rinnegan.

• Code found the Ten-Tails gone from its confinement and realized it had become a moving smoke-like decoy while the real beast was being carried away.
• Code used his Claw Marks to reach the Ten-Tails, and Meihui recognized his attempt to reclaim it and stabbed through Code’s hand with a kunai.
• Code ignited his Cosmos, cracked his Limiter, and tore the Ten-Tails in two, taking half before passing out.

Meihui helped Sasuke channel the Ten-Tails chakra in a refined Chakra Pill, allowing Sasuke's Rinnegan to evolve and awaken a new version of Limbo: Border Jail. After Meihui revealed he knew Moon God Mode was turning him into an Ōtsutsuki, he left with Sasuke, unaware Team 7 was already in a fierce battle.

• Meihui gave Sasuke a refined Chakra Pill, then used his chakra to control the Ten-Tails chakra overwhelming Sasuke's body and guide it toward his Rinnegan.
• Sasuke's condition stabilized, and after Meihui fell asleep while keeping watch, Sasuke woke him with news that his Rinnegan had evolved.
• Sasuke demonstrated his new Limbo: Border Jail, which let him use a shadow to swap places with his real body and absorb limited damage.

Code recovered half of the Ten-Tails and went searching for whoever had stolen the rest. Delta ambushed Team 7, wounded Kawaki, and repeatedly beat Boruto, leaving the team facing a powerful Kara enemy.

• Code woke up, confirmed that half of the Ten-Tails remained secured, and left to find the thief who had taken the other half.
• Delta spotted Team 7, recognized Kawaki, and blocked their path while demanding that he return with her.
• Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki attacked Delta, but she absorbed their ninjutsu and blasted off Kawaki's right hand with her Destruction Laser.
• Kawaki tried to heal his arm with Kāma, but Delta's laser wound would not recover, and he warned Boruto to let him explain before attacking.
• Delta kicked Boruto, absorbed his Rasengan, and kicked him again, swelling both sides of his face.

Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki fought Delta, but she overpowered them and used Boruto as leverage to make Kawaki surrender. Just as Kawaki was bound and approached Delta, Uchiha Itachi returned and protected the others with Susanoo.

• Boruto insulted Delta by calling her an old hag, and she attacked him with a laser before pursuing him with a scythe-legged kick.
• Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki coordinated attacks and trapped Delta with Mitsuki's snakes, but Delta broke free, kicked Sarada away, and absorbed Boruto's Rasengan.
• Delta pinned Boruto under her foot and threatened to kill him unless Sarada and Mitsuki brought her Kawaki.
• Kawaki surrendered, and Mitsuki bound him with Hidden Shadow Snake Hands as he approached Delta.

Itachi rescued Team 7 from Delta and defeated her with his Susanoo, then sealed her corpse and led his students away. Delta awakened in a new body at Kara’s base, while Code found her drone and pursued the group, intending to use her as a scapegoat.

• Itachi returned to find Delta attacking Boruto and Kawaki, then protected the students with his Susanoo.
• Itachi used his armored Susanoo to overpower Delta, while Kawaki and Boruto destroyed her drone.
• Delta woke in a newly activated body at Kara’s base and demanded information about the Uchiha Clan from Amado.

Code caught up with Team 7 and tried to take Kawaki back, forcing Itachi to fight him. As Code’s Kāma and Claw Marks turned the battle against Itachi, Boruto tried to draw on Momoshiki’s power.

Boruto forced Momoshiki to lend him power, transformed into Kāma’s second stage, and badly injured Code before Momoshiki took control to finish the attack. As Code lay defeated, Jigen arrived through a spatial vortex and found Kawaki, leaving Team 7 facing a new enemy.

• Boruto begged and then threatened Momoshiki until Momoshiki activated Boruto’s Kāma’s second stage.
• Boruto kicked Code away and attacked him with a Rasengan, but quickly changed back after exhausting his power.
• Code mocked Boruto, so Momoshiki took control and pierced Code’s abdomen with a compressed Rasengan.
• Jigen arrived through Yomotsu Hirasaka, found Kawaki, and faced Team 7 as they braced for battle.

Jigen arrived in the Alternate Dimension and found Kawaki, while also discovering that Boruto carried Momoshiki’s Kāma. Itachi tried to protect both boys, but Jigen overwhelmed him and attacked as Itachi’s strength gave out.

• Jigen sensed Code weakening, teleported to the Alternate Dimension, and recognized Kawaki as his ideal vessel.
• Momoshiki shielded Boruto from Jigen’s aura, but Jigen identified Boruto’s Kāma and decided to use him as a sacrifice for the Ten-Tails.
• Itachi took Kawaki hostage and forced Jigen to choose between him and Boruto, so Jigen tossed Boruto aside and attacked Itachi with black rods.

Meihui Uzumaki arrived in time to save Itachi and swiftly overwhelmed Jigen, who fled through a spatial portal only to be struck by Meihui’s Rasengan inside Kara’s base. Jigen survived barely, while Code’s faith in him faltered and Isshiki questioned whether coming to this world with Kaguya had been a mistake.

• Meihui Uzumaki caught Jigen’s Black Rods and arrived to protect the exhausted Itachi.
• Jigen fought Meihui, but Meihui defeated him even after he activated the second stage of Kāma.
• Jigen tried to escape through Yomotsu Hirasaka, but Meihui held the portal open and sent a Rasengan through it.
