"Holy shit, my mom's gone?"
Watching this unfold, the Sage of Six Paths finally realized something was wrong. After searching to no avail, he swore.
He could sense that Kaguya's presence had vanished. Even her presence on the moon was gone. In other words, his mother had truly disappeared, completely and utterly.
But the Sage of Six Paths felt none of the joy one might expect after a victory. All he felt was endless worry.
"Meihui Uzumaki? He really is dangerous. What if he turns against the Shinobi World?"
What the Sage of Six Paths feared most now was that Meihui might get upset and turn the entire Shinobi World upside down. What would he do then?
Have Naruto and Sasuke stop him? What a joke. Others might not know what had happened, but how could he not know when he had watched it all?
Naruto and Sasuke had seemingly traded blows with Kaguya, but in reality, they had barely scratched her. She might even have recovered more health than they had chipped away. Meihui's attacks were different, though. He had devoured Kaguya completely.
That forced the Sage of Six Paths to consider the danger Meihui posed. He could take on his mother's appearance, and it wasn't just his looks-even his abilities were nearly the same as hers.
That made things difficult. The Sage of Six Paths felt his head ready to burst, so he simply gave up. From his kneeling position, he lay straight down. He was done trying. Whatever happened, happened.
Meanwhile, as luck would have it, Black Zetsu, whom Kaguya had risked her life to save, landed right beside Sakura. Before she could act, he possessed her.
Kaguya had severed a portion of her own energy to save Black Zetsu. The moment he possessed Sakura, he released
