Picking up where we left off, Tsunade had appointed Meihui the Sixth Hokage, then run off into the sunset with Jiraiya. Pfft, no, they called that going on vacation.
Meihui stared at the Hokage Hat sitting on the desk in the Hokage's Office, lost in thought.
"So she just dumped the Hokage's responsibilities on me?"
The corner of Meihui's mouth twitched, and he coughed.
"Go get Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha."
"Yes, Lord Sixth."
"Whoa, don't call me the Sixth yet. I haven't agreed to become Hokage."
Meihui was still utterly speechless. This ANBU member really couldn't take a hint.
Soon, Naruto and Sasuke arrived at the Hokage's Office. They looked at Meihui sitting on top of the desk, with no idea why he had summoned them.
"Nii-san, what's wrong? Did something happen?"
Sasuke gave him a questioning look too.
"Ahem, here's the situation..." Meihui told them about Tsunade's instructions. Naturally, he left out every last word about her appointing him Hokage.
"So, which of you wants to be Hokage?" Meihui asked.
When neither answered, Meihui tried again.
"Little bro, don't you want the job? Wasn't becoming Hokage your biggest dream? Here's your chance, right in front of you. Don't let it slip away-it won't come again."
"Uh... Nii-san, when did I ever say my dream was to become Hokage?"
