An unknown amount of time had passed. One sunny afternoon, Meihui took a leisurely stroll through the park with his family, holding his daughter Uzumaki Nan's hand in his left and Uchiha Shizuku's in his right.
Just then, a blue butterfly fluttered past, catching Uzumaki Nan's attention. She slipped free of Meihui's hand and ran after it, trying to catch it.
Watching their daughter run off, Shizuku exchanged a smile with Meihui.
"Nan, be careful! Don't fall."
Uzumaki Nan paid no attention to her mother's warning and kept lunging after the blue butterfly.
Then she tripped over a branch on the ground and fell.
Meihui hurried over and helped Uzumaki Nan up.
The fall had hurt, and Meihui could already see tears welling in her eyes.
But a moment later, his daughter gave him quite a shock.
Uzumaki Nan's once-black eyes had turned red, each bearing a single tomoe, because of the pain from her fall.
"Is that... the Sharingan?"
Shizuku came up beside Meihui and saw their daughter's eyes, her lips parting in surprise.
Was her talent really that extraordinary?
She had awakened her eyes just by taking a tumble? Sasuke would have cried himself unconscious in the bathroom if he knew.
What the hell was this? Was the single tomoe I got at the cost of my entire clan really worth that little?
"What's wrong, Daddy?"
Uzumaki Nan looked at Meihui curiously, unsure why he seemed so shocked. She blinked her eyes, not understanding why her father and mother were staring at her like that.
Seeing Uzumaki Nan like this, Meihui's heart nearly melted. He decided that every blond-haired boy within hundreds of miles had to die.
Some unknown time earlier, Meihui's system had suddenly said goodbye to him.
[Host, I'm leaving.]
"Mm. Safe travels."
