After checking his rewards, Meihui felt like he could soar straight into the sky. He debated whether to immediately fuse with the Seven-Orifice Exquisite Heart he had just received, but held himself back. Things still weren't safe enough. Who knew whether Danzo, who had yet to show himself, might suddenly pop up?
With that, Meihui headed over to Naruto to see how things were going. When he arrived, he happened to catch one of Naruto's iconic scenes.
Naruto stood before Gaara, recounting his experiences with emotion written all over his face.
"Why? Why are you like this? We're the same kind of person, so why are you so happy? We're monsters!" Gaara roared, unable to understand.
"Because I have a dream of my own: to become Hokage. I'll work hard to earn everyone's recognition. And once I've made up my mind, I always follow through on my word. That's my Ninja Way."
Naruto's mind-altering talk-no-jutsu was no joke. Even as he spoke, he kept throwing the occasional punch at Gaara.
"If you don't have any friends, then I'll be your friend." With that, Naruto punched Gaara again. By now, Gaara was pretty bewildered. Talk me around all you want, but why do you have to hit me? I'm listening, okay?
And so, moved by Naruto's words, Gaara decided to get along properly with the people around him. Since that guy dreams of becoming Hokage, then as his friend, I'll become Kazekage.
Seeing that Naruto had thoroughly talked Gaara around, Meihui, his older brother, chose that exact moment to appear.
Looking at someone who looked almost identical to Naruto, Gaara fell into thought.
Noticing the strange look Gaara was giving him, Meihui hurried to pick up where Naruto had left off.
