After Meihui brought Naruto back to Konoha and took him to the hospital, Tsunade summoned Meihui for a talk.
Looking somewhat angry, Tsunade slapped the desk.
"Meihui Uzumaki, what happened? I sent you there, and you still couldn't bring Sasuke back?"
Meihui felt rather helpless under Tsunade's questioning and could only explain Sasuke's intentions to her.
Even after his lengthy explanation, Tsunade was still unhappy. She had only just taken office, and someone had already defected. It would be embarrassing if word got out.
"Orochimaru isn't someone you can mess with so easily. Be careful you don't get burned playing with fire."
"Don't worry, Lady Tsunade. With me around, I won't let that happen. Besides, Sasuke isn't as weak as you think. He's got some skills."
"Fine, then do as you please." Tsunade's anger had subsided. Making any more of a fuss would only make her seem unreasonable.
"Then, if there's nothing else, Lady Tsunade, I'll go look after my little brother at the hospital."
Tsunade waved a hand, signaling for Meihui to leave.
After leaving the Hokage building, Meihui felt a little hungry, so he stopped by Ichiraku on the way. He ate his fill of ramen and got two servings to go for Naruto.
When Meihui reached Naruto's hospital room, he found Jiraiya there too. Naruto had already woken up.
"What do you say, Naruto? You and your brother could come with me on a training journey outside the village."
"Onii-chan, you're here! That smells amazing-Ichiraku Ramen!" Naruto clearly hadn't taken in anything Jiraiya had said. The delicious ramen had captured all his attention.
Having gone hungry for so long, Naruto wolfed down the food the moment he got his hands on it. Jiraiya stood beside him, practically drooling. Seeing another serving, he tried to help himself.
