After Meihui brought Uchiha Shizuku back to Konoha, he went straight to Tsunade's office. Naruto rushed to the Hokage's office as soon as he heard the news, too. After all, she might be his future sister-in-law.
He had to get a good look at his future sister-in-law. Without a moment's delay, Naruto made a beeline for the Hokage's office.
"Big brother, you're back!" His voice arrived before he did; Naruto called out before he even entered.
Inside the Hokage's office, Meihui stood with Uchiha Shizuku, looking just as awkward as you would bringing your girlfriend home to meet your parents for the first time. He endured Tsunade's and Jiraiya's knowing looks.
It made Meihui seriously regret his earlier decision. Really, this was far too awkward.
Tsunade was the first to break the awkward silence.
"All right, you little brat. Hurry up and introduce your girlfriend."
"Ahem. This is Uchiha Shizuku, my girlfriend."
But everyone's attention seemed to be on something other than whether she was Meihui's girlfriend. The girl before them was an Uchiha. Uchiha were incredibly rare these days. Even Konoha's only remaining Uchiha had run off, and now another one had appeared.
Tsunade was quite surprised that an Uchiha had saved Meihui. Weren't members of the Uchiha Clan supposed to be obsessive? Yet the girl before her seemed rather quiet and gentle. Instead of the Uchiha Clan's wild, spiky hair, she had long, silky locks.
With dark eyes and fair skin, she was a feast for the eyes. Shy around strangers, Shizuku kept averting her gaze. Being stared at like this made her terribly bashful, and she lowered her head.
Tsunade looked at the Uchiha girl and cleared her throat, signaling for Meihui to explain her background.
