Xiao Fan and his allies escaped the Dou Saint Ruins, gathered strength, and prepared Starfall Pavilion for the Hall of Souls’ planned assault. As the attack drew near, Mo Shang exploited his standing in the Hall of Souls to raid its treasury and secretly strengthen himself.

• Xiao Fan, Xiao Yan, and Xun'er wounded Huang Luo with a Six-Colored Fire Lotus, escaped the collapsing ruins, and evaded Blood River Venerable with Gu Chen’s help.
• Xiao Fan learned that Yue Yao faced the Spirit Clan’s Moon God Trials and vowed to help her, then hunted Hall of Souls experts and destroyed the Yan Yu Branch Hall to advance his cultivation.
• Xiao Fan used the Saint of Creation’s bones to learn the Great Heaven Creation Palm, while the Third Heavenly Venerate ordered an attack on Starfall Pavilion.
• Xiao Yan returned to Starfall Pavilion with Yao Lao’s Dou Sheng remains, and Yao Lao entered seclusion to pursue a breakthrough as Xiao Yan treated Qing Lin’s poison.

Xiao Fan helped Starfall Pavilion repel the Hall of Souls, then set out to prepare for the Moon God Trials. He brought Baili back to Sound Valley, fought off the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan, and entered seclusion after the Jiao Pearl awakened a Crescent Mark on his forehead.

• Mo Shang warned Xiao Fan that the Hall of Souls was approaching Starfall Pavilion, and Xiao Fan and his allies prepared to defend the pavilion.
• Yao Lao reached Dou Sheng and defeated the Third Heavenly Venerate’s forces, forcing the Hall of Souls to retreat and leaving Mo Shang in charge of its Central Plains forces.
• Xiao Fan traveled to Sound Valley, where Qin Xin asked him to find Baili and persuade her to return with the preparation method for the Moon God Trials.
• Xiao Fan found Baili and convinced her to return to Sound Valley after revealing that Ru Shuang was alive.
• The Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan ambushed Xiao Fan and Baili near Sound Valley, and Xiao Fan defeated the three attackers while Baili held off a fourth.
• Xiao Fan restrained the last Phoenix after Ru Shuang arrived, and Baili reunited with Ru Shuang at Sound Valley.

Xiao Fan relived Ding You’s final days through the Jiao Pearl, then entered the Spirit World to find Yue Yao and claim a place in the Moon God Trials. The Chaos Flame protected him from Granny, while Xiao Yan and Yao Lao discovered that Xiao Fan had been directing the Hall of Souls.

• Xiao Fan witnessed Ding You’s fall in the Jiao Pearl and learned that the Spirit Clan had punished those responsible, then returned to the mountain cave and asked Baili to contact Ru Shuang.
• Xiao Yi Xian and Yun Yun reached Starfall Pavilion, where Yao Lao welcomed them and offered to teach Xiao Yi Xian alchemy.
• Ru Shuang opened a Spatial Passage, and Xiao Fan entered the Spirit World by tracing its location with his chaos flame.
• Xiao Fan learned that Yue Yao was the Spirit Clan’s Saintess and infiltrated the Holy City, where the Moon’s Sorrow quest activated.
• Xiao Fan reached Yue Yao on the island beneath the moonlight, but she identified herself as Yan Ling and attacked him.
• Xiao Fan fought Yan Ling until their clash destroyed the island, and Granny granted him a place in the Moon God Trials.

As the Hall of Souls marched on Starfall Pavilion, Xiao Fan uncovered more of the Moon God’s legacy and rushed back to join the battle. The fighting escalated with the Third Heavenly Venerate’s arrival, and Mo Shang trapped Xiao Fan in an explosive ambush while Xiao Yi Xian plunged into the flames.

• Yao Lao and Xiao Yan staged rumors that Yao Lao was gravely weakened, while the Hall of Souls prepared to attack Starfall Pavilion under Heaven Hall’s orders.
• Tianchi guided Xiao Fan through the first two murals in the Spirit Clan’s Ancestral Land, where the visions tempered his soul, Dou Qi, and body and revealed a conflict between Di Tian and the Divine Maiden.
• Xiao Fan escaped the Spirit World’s barrier and raced toward Starfall Pavilion as Xiao Yan gathered allied forces and moved weaker disciples to safety.
• Mo Shang advanced to Eight-Star Dou Zun aboard the Hall of Souls’ warship, then confronted Xiao Yan at Starfall Pavilion with a demand to hand over Yao Lao.
• The Hall of Souls and Starfall Pavilion’s allies clashed, while Xiao Yan fought Huang Xuan and Mo Shang battled Xuan Yi, and Left Elder and the Qingluan Clan’s First Elder entered the fight.
• Xiao Fan arrived on a flame dragon and killed a Hall of Souls expert before the Third Heavenly Venerate appeared and attacked him.
