From there, he could gaze out over cities that had once thrived but now lay in ruins, their broken walls and rubble scattered everywhere.
This young man was Granolah, the sole surviving Cerealian.
He had been one of two survivors back then.
Granolah was tall, muscular, and well-proportioned. One look was enough to tell that he was a warrior skilled in combat.
He had teal hair, teal eyebrows, sharp teal eyes, tan skin, and extraordinarily handsome features.
A brown eyepiece covered his right eye.
It was his closest companion, his assistant in battle, a powerful artificial intelligence.
It had helped him a great deal.
Cerealians possessed a natural gift for enhancing their right eyes. These eyes improved their shooting accuracy and allowed them to see through their enemies' weaknesses, making them an exceptional race of snipers.
Sadly, Granolah was now the only one left of that exceptional race.
Granolah gazed at the distant, ruined cities with his eagle-like eyes.
His powerful vision could clearly make out the enormous footprints scattered throughout them.
Those were the marks left by the invading Saiyans in their Great Ape forms all those years ago.
Farther away, hemispherical energy shields covered small cities brimming with life.
Those were the homes of the Sugarians, Planet Cereal's current inhabitants.
More than fifty years ago, the Heeters had developed Planet Cereal after its destruction by the Frieza Force, then sold it at a high price to the Sugarians, who had been wandering through space.
The Sugarians had rebuilt and now lived within those energy shields.
Planet Cereal was no longer the world it had once been.
