Goku blasted one of Zamasu's arms to pieces with an Energy Blast.
But Zamasu was immortal. Almost instantly, a brand-new arm grew back.
At first, he had screamed whenever he was injured.
Once he grew accustomed to it and went numb, every injury brought a chilling burst of laughter.
As though he wasn't the one getting hurt.
He was a complete freak.
Goku was getting fed up with him.
He suddenly remembered his old battle against Majin Buu.
Back then, Majin Buu had been just as difficult to deal with, constantly recovering through his immortality and regeneration. It had been maddening.
And with Super Shenron's buff, Zamasu's immortality surpassed even Majin Buu's. There was simply no way to destroy him completely.
Goku knocked Zamasu back with a punch, wondering whether the Spirit Bomb or old Master Roshi's Evil Containment Wave could deal with this troublesome foe.
But he didn't know the Evil Containment Wave.
And the Spirit Bomb needed vast amounts of energy and time to form, making its requirements difficult to meet.
There were far too few living beings in this shattered world. Even if he gathered all the energy on Earth, he still wouldn't be able to destroy Zamasu completely.
Zamasu taunted him wildly. "Hahaha! Goku, you're just a lowly mortal, yet you dare to challenge a god? What a laughable pipe dream!"
"All humans are cruel, bloodthirsty, and belligerent. They shouldn't be allowed to live in this world. They should be wiped out completely..."
In a rare moment of clearheadedness, Goku retorted, "You're the one who should be wiped out! You're a Supreme Kai, yet you want to destroy all humanity and make an enemy of the whole world. You're nothing but a villain!"
