Pan cried out in surprise.
A huge crowd of monsters rushed out of the base.
They looked rather terrifying.
But once they fought them, they discovered that the monsters were nothing special in terms of strength.
They casually tossed out a few energy spheres and blasted them all to dust.
But just then...
The entire valley shook violently. Countless rocks tumbled down as the mountain range began to collapse.
"Get out of here!!!" Piccolo shouted.
They smashed the falling boulders and sped high into the sky.
"ROOOAAAR!!!" A terrifying cry swept in every direction at that moment.
The sound was so piercing that everyone covered their ears.
The valley collapsed completely amid that terrifying roar. Then a golden figure sprang into the air and landed atop the ruins.
"ROOOAAAR!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!!!
The monster howled as it pounded its chest.
It looked around blankly, then spotted Piccolo and the others.
"ROAR!"
It suddenly opened its enormous maw and fired a red energy beam at the four figures flying high overhead.
The energy tore through the air at a frightening speed.
"Whoa!"
The children cried out, narrowly dodging it.
Seeing them evade its energy attack, the golden monster froze for a moment.
"That monster's Ki is rising fast," Son Goten said.
"What kind of monster is it this time?" Son Wu peered through the thick smoke, trying to make everything out.
That strange Ki was coming from the monster before them.
Its Ki was extremely complex, mingled with the Ki of many different people.
What on earth was this monster? They were all bewildered.
Even the experienced and knowledgeable Piccolo could not make sense of what he was seeing.
