The journey passed without incident, and the two soon returned to Capsule Corporation.

Son Gohan brought out the spaceship on a fairly level patch of ground in the backyard.

After a careful inspection, Bulma said, "The damage isn't particularly bad. I should be able to fix it in about a week."

Hearing Bulma's words, Son Gohan breathed a quiet sigh of relief.

Plan one: ✔️

With a gravity training room and a spaceship, he would have far more options and room to maneuver.

Now that's something to put my mind at ease.

Over the next day, Son Gohan and Trunks gave the spaceship a thorough cleaning.

They scrubbed away all the moss and grime covering it.

Aside from the few damaged areas, the ship looked good as new.

Now it was up to Bulma to work her magic.

Neither Son Gohan nor Trunks understood any of this, so all they could do was stand around and watch.

After resting for another two days, Son Gohan felt that he had fully recovered and decided it was time to put his second plan into action.

Plan two: head to Kami's Lookout, with the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as the objective.

In this timeline, not even Vegeta knew about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, let alone Son Gohan.

As a result, Son Gohan had never made use of it.

What a waste. What an absolute waste.

There was still one problem, however. When Piccolo had been killed, Kami, who shared his life despite having a separate mind, had died as well, leaving Kami's Lookout without a master.

He didn't know whether Mr. Popo, the guardian of Kami's Lookout, was still there.

Nor did he know whether the androids had attacked the Lookout.

He would have to go there himself to find out.

Son Gohan planned to take Trunks with him.

So, on the fourth day, Son Gohan gave Bulma a rough outline of his plan.

Bulma was surprised that Son Gohan knew about these things, and that he had only brought them up now.

If he'd known all along, couldn't he have gone there to train sooner?

Son Gohan had known Bulma would have these questions as soon as he explained his plan, and he already had an answer prepared.

Son Gohan said he had overheard his father mention it when he was very young. So much time had passed that he had only just remembered it. He wasn't entirely sure about it, but it might help with their training.

Bulma gave Son Gohan a searching look, then let the matter drop.

"Well, it's good to have a method and a direction. Go ahead, and don't worry about things here. But wait a moment first. I've got something for you," Bulma said.

"Something for us?" Son Gohan and Trunks asked in confusion.

Both wondered what it could be.

Before long, Bulma dug out a Capsule, pressed its button, and tossed it onto the ground. With a boom!, it turned into a large chest.

Trunks eagerly opened the chest and found several Battle Suits inside, all of the same design.

They were blue and white.

"Hmm? These Battle Suits look familiar." Son Gohan crouched down as well and reached out to feel them.

Bulma spoke softly, a trace of sadness in her voice. "I made these Battle Suits over ten years ago, based on the armor worn by the Frieza Force. There was one for each of our friends. Sadly, they all died in battle before they could use them."

"The one sized for Gohan back then should fit Trunks."

Son Gohan's eyes lit up.

These are good stuff.

This type of armor was exceptionally light, snug-fitting, and breathable.

On top of that, it could withstand attacks to a certain extent, offering decent protection.

It was much sturdier than the orange martial arts uniform he was wearing.

Son Gohan had worn Frieza Force armor on Planet Namek as a child, and it had left a lasting impression on him.

He remembered this particular design, too.

These were the outfits Bulma had brought out in the "original story" when Son Goku and his son first entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

To put it simply, these Battle Suits were so durable that even if Son Gohan and Trunks transformed into Great Apes over ten meters tall, they wouldn't tear.

Their incredible stretch made them exceptionally good equipment.

Son Gohan smiled. "Thank you, Aunt Bulma."

Without another word, Trunks found the smallest suit and changed into it on the spot. Sure enough, it fit perfectly.

He hopped and bounded around, thoroughly pleased with his new armor.

Bulma smiled. "It really does fit. You look very handsome in it, Trunks."

"Thanks, Mom," Trunks said with a smile.

Son Gohan felt awkward changing in front of Bulma, so he found somewhere else to change before coming back out.

Bulma's eyes brightened when she saw him.

Son Gohan stood tall, his muscles solid. He was even taller and more powerfully built than Son Goku had been back then.

Having stopped his studies, Son Gohan now had a physique better than a model's.

Unfortunately, his missing left arm spoiled the look.

He simply tied the left sleeve into a knot so it wouldn't keep flapping in the wind.

"Wow, you look so cool, Gohan!" Trunks exclaimed.

"Very nice. They fit both of you perfectly." Bulma nodded with a smile.

Son Gohan put away the spare Battle Suits.

Then he said, "Trunks and I will get going, then. We'll be back soon-one day at the earliest, two at the latest."

"All right." Bulma nodded.

"Bye, Mom." Trunks waved.

"Bye, Trunks." Bulma waved back.

The two left the house together.

Son Gohan checked their bearings.

Then they rose into the air and flew toward Korin Tower.

Soon, rain came pouring down, and dark clouds blanketed everything.

Son Gohan and Trunks flew through the rain, their auras blazing around them and keeping every drop at bay.

Before long, an enormous pillar stretching between heaven and earth appeared ahead.

All kinds of totems were carved into the towering pillar.

Son Gohan knew that at its summit stood the legendary martial arts sanctuary, Korin Tower.

"Trunks, let's fly up," Son Gohan said, looking back at him.

"Right, Gohan," Trunks replied.

The two figures made a sharp turn and shot upward, breaking through layers of dark clouds before soon reaching the top of the pillar.

Korin Tower, where Korin lived.

Son Gohan and Trunks slowed, flew inside, and landed gently.

Son Gohan glanced around and sighed helplessly.

Korin, who had lived here for years, was nowhere to be found.

Only a collection of empty jars and bottles remained. Everything else was gone.

"Gohan, what is this place?" Trunks asked curiously.

"Korin's home. He used to grow Senzu Beans here," Son Gohan replied.

"Huh? Then where is he now?" Trunks asked in shock, before rummaging through the jars and bottles in the hope of finding a Senzu Bean to heal Gohan's missing arm.

Unfortunately, there wasn't even half a bean left, let alone a whole one.

Son Gohan shook his head. "I don't know."

"Let's go. Kami's Lookout is still farther up."

They left and continued flying upward.

As they climbed higher, the gray skies gave way to clear blue, and warm sunlight fell on them, feeling indescribably pleasant.

It was as though they had entered another, beautiful world.

Trunks had never seen a view like this before and was thrilled. If not for his reserved nature, he would have shouted with excitement.

Soon, they broke through a white cloud and arrived above Kami's Lookout.
