Kibito shuddered too.

What on earth was going on?

They were both terrified that even a slightly excessive movement might wake Majin Buu.

But Son Gohan?

He had fired an Energy Blast straight down and blasted the Sealing Ball up out of the ground.

Their bodies went rigid, and they were nearly in tears.

Honestly, they were a little scared.

Kibito stammered, "M-Mr. Gohan, could you please be a little gentler?"

The Supreme Kai agreed. "Yes, if Majin Buu wakes up, we'll be in trouble."

"Oh, don't worry."

Son Gohan walked over and hefted Majin Buu's Sealing Ball in his hand, tossing it up and down like a toy.

Kibito and the Supreme Kai never took their eyes off Majin Buu's Sealing Ball for even a second, making them look as though they were nodding frantically.

Son Gohan continued, "Majin Buu has been sealed inside for millions of years. If he could break out easily, he'd have done it long ago. First, there's no unsealing incantation, and second, there isn't enough energy. He can't get out."

"Really?" the Supreme Kai and Kibito asked anxiously.

"Of course. Relax. Come on, it's time we headed back," Son Gohan urged.

Majin Buu's Sealing Ball fell from the air, and he caught it firmly in his hand.

"Oh, right." Kibito nodded, placed his hands on Son Gohan's and the Supreme Kai's shoulders again, and whisked all three of them back to the Sacred World of the Kai.

Son Gohan set the Sealing Ball on the ground. Old Kai came over and circled it, clicking his tongue. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. That thing really is overflowing with demonic aura. Hurry up and put it somewhere safe."

"Yes, Ancestor," the Supreme Kai replied.

Then Kibito carried Old Kai on his back, Son Gohan held the Sealing Ball in his hand, and the Supreme Kai flew on his own as they returned to the place where the Z Sword had been sealed.

Son Gohan placed the enormous Sealing Ball on the mountaintop, nearly filling the whole summit.

Son Gohan dusted off his hands and smiled. "There. That's finally taken care of."

The Supreme Kai circled the Sealing Ball once more. After confirming that it had not been damaged anywhere, he finally felt a weight lift from his heart.

Then they returned to the ground below.

Son Gohan said, "The Sacred World of the Kai is a holy sanctuary of the divine realm, after all. Mortals can't get here easily."

"From now on, as long as you and Kibito remember to check on it regularly, Supreme Kai, everything should be fine."

The Supreme Kai replied, "We'll definitely check on it regularly. Otherwise, we wouldn't feel at ease either."

"Mm." Son Gohan nodded, then turned to Old Kai. "Sir, how are we going to stay in touch? I don't know Instant Transmission, either. It's so inconvenient. Even if I find something good, I can't bring it to you. Could you teach me Kibito's technique?"

Son Gohan asked, still unwilling to give up.

Old Kai waved a hand. "No use. I really can't teach you that."

"Uh..." Son Gohan sighed.

"How about this? Take this with you." Old Kai thought for a moment, then produced a fist-sized glass orb from somewhere and handed it to Son Gohan.

"What is this?" Son Gohan took the glass orb and examined it closely.

Old Kai explained, "It's called a Communication Orb. Whenever you find something good, just speak into it, and we'll hear you. Then I'll have Kibito come pick you up."

"Great. This is just what I need." Son Gohan grinned and happily put the Communication Orb into his Universal Storage Capsule.

"Thank you, sir," Son Gohan said with a smile.

"Mm, off you go." Old Kai turned his back and waved.

Son Gohan turned to Kibito. "Kibito, sorry for the trouble, but I'll have to ask you to take me back to Earth again."

"Of course. It's no trouble at all," Kibito said with a blank expression. He never seemed to smile much.

"Goodbye, Supreme Kai. Thanks for the sword," Son Gohan said with a smile.

The Supreme Kai waved back and smiled. "Haha, no need to be so polite, Mr. Gohan. Come visit often."

"Of course. I definitely will," Son Gohan replied with a smile.

"Let's go, Kibito."

"Right!" Kibito answered, placing his hand on Son Gohan's shoulder again before they vanished in a flash.

The next second, they appeared at the entrance to Capsule Corporation.

"Mr. Gohan, we've arrived. I'll be going now." Seeing that they had reached their destination, Kibito immediately said his goodbyes.

"Hey, hold on." Son Gohan reached out and caught him.

"Have something to eat before you go. I promise it'll be something you've never tried before, and it'll be absolutely delicious."

"Is... is that really all right?" Kibito's Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed.

Earth's food really was delicious, after all.

"Why wouldn't it be? We're friends, you know? Friends don't need to stand on ceremony. Come on, let's go."

Unable to turn down such hospitality, Kibito reluctantly ate fifteen ice creams, ten Rampaging Lobster Balls, eight Iceberg Snow Velvet Chicken drumsticks, and a cup of Baa Baa Milk Tea.

"Ahem. Kibito, how was it?" Son Gohan asked.

"Mr. Gohan, it was delicious. I've never had anything this good on Supreme Kai Planet," Kibito said honestly.

"Of course. You can only get these things on Earth, nowhere else. Just come by often. There's plenty, and you can eat your fill," Son Gohan said with a smile.

"How could I impose like that?" Kibito looked thoroughly earnest.

Son Gohan waved a hand. "It's nothing. It hardly costs anything. The whole point is to enjoy the food. We're friends, so don't worry about that."

"Well, thank you, Mr. Gohan," Kibito said with a smile.

"I'm so full. It's time I headed back."

"Wait a moment." Son Gohan beckoned to a server.

The server immediately brought over two bags stuffed with food.

Son Gohan took the bags from the server and pressed them into Kibito's hands.

"You've eaten, but the Supreme Kai and Old Kai haven't. Take these back with you."

"Ah... thank you, Mr. Gohan." Kibito felt his eyes grow moist.

Ah, Mr. Gohan really is such a wonderful person.

He even remembered the two Supreme Kais far away in the Sacred World of the Kai.

Compared to him, I'm practically a beast. All I thought about was stuffing my own face. How shameful.

Warmth flowed through Kibito's heart. This time, he was genuinely touched.

"Oh, right, Kibito. I'd like to visit Planet Yardrat tomorrow," Son Gohan said.

Kibito instantly stood up straight. "Then I'll come pick you up on time tomorrow, Mr. Gohan. Would you like to go in the morning or the afternoon?"

"Hey, you don't have to be so formal. The morning, then. Just come by tomorrow morning," Son Gohan said with a smile.

"All right. I'll come tomorrow morning." Kibito nodded firmly and teleported away.

Son Gohan returned to Capsule Corporation carrying a bag of food and found Bulma studying the large chunk of katchin.

Sensing Son Gohan's Ki, Trunks also ran out of the Gravity Room.

The moment they met, Trunks began chattering about what had happened the day before yesterday.

After hearing his account, Son Gohan asked in surprise, "You said you saved a girl named Mai?"

"Yeah. Why? She even treated Videl and me to a meal," Trunks said.

"Uh, nothing. Congratulations." Son Gohan patted Trunks on the shoulder and continued, "You stink. Hurry up and take a shower, then come out with me."

"Are we going out to have fun?" Trunks's eyes lit up, and he immediately ignored the first half of Son Gohan's words.

"Obviously. Do you want to come or not? If you do, hurry up. Otherwise, I'll go by myself," Son Gohan said.

"Yes! I'm coming! Wait for me, Gohan! I'll be quick." Trunks dashed off.

Bulma turned her head and asked, "Gohan, where are you two going?"

"I promised Old Kai I'd help him buy some local specialties," Son Gohan said with a smile.

"Oh." Bulma nodded. "He's an old man, then? Are you buying health supplements or something?"

"Yes, exactly. Health supplements." Son Gohan nodded.
