Son Gohan sparred with Broly on the God of Destruction Planet, where Broly briefly lost control and damaged the planet before Son Gohan stopped him. Champa and Vados arrived, discovered Beerus was actually working, and hurried off to check on him as Son Gohan took Broly to the Supreme Kai Planet.

Half a year later, Zeno asked the Grand Minister about the universes’ mortal levels, and the Grand Minister suggested playing a game.
