Uchiha Obito raged helplessly before Rin Nohara's gravestone.
Yechen stopped concealing himself, emerged from the woods, and walked slowly toward him.
Tap, tap, tap...!
His feet splashed through the puddles, his footsteps sounding somewhat heavy.
In the distance, Obito Uchiha immediately snapped out of his rage and looked toward the sound, shock plain in his eyes.
"What, it's only been a little over two years, and you don't recognize your big brother anymore?"
Yechen stopped ten meters away and teased him.
"Uchiha Ye Chen?"
At the sight of the newcomer, Obito grew deeply wary.
Of all the people in Konoha, the man before him was the one he least wanted to encounter.
A man's reputation followed him like a tree's shadow!
Yechen's reputation was immense. Even with his Mangekyō Sharingan awakened, Obito couldn't claim he would gain the upper hand against him, much less now, when he only had the abilities of a single Sharingan.
Of course, that didn't mean he was afraid of Yechen. He still had plenty of confidence in his own abilities.
He simply didn't want to get caught up in a prolonged fight in Konoha and draw unwanted trouble. That would make it much harder for him to return.
His teacher, Minato Namikaze, was a particular concern. Once Minato set his sights on him, even Obito Uchiha would find him difficult to deal with.
"It's been so long, and you're still this childish?" Yechen glanced at the flowers on the ground.
"Kakashi brought these out of kindness, at least. Aren't you two close comrades?"
"Shut up!" Hearing Kakashi's name, Obito became agitated.
"He killed Rin! Do you understand?"
"Oh, so that's what you think." Yechen smiled.
"What do you mean?" Obito asked in confusion.
"Exactly what I said..." Yechen slowly walked over, picked up the flowers
