They largely agreed with Hatake Ziyan's assessment. What intrigued them most now was what he had just said to Tsunade to turn her from furious to utterly dispirited, as though she had lost her soul.
"Since there are no objections, who would be best suited to go to the Land of Rice Fields? What do you suggest?" Minato Namikaze asked.
"Lord White Fang, accompanied by Shisui Uchiha and Hizashi Hyuga! Those three would be perfect for this mission!" Shikaku proposed.
Everyone present nodded. Setting aside an anomaly like Hatake Ziyan, Hatake Sakumo was probably the strongest shinobi in Konoha. Shisui specialized in genjutsu, while Hizashi excelled at reconnaissance. The team really had no glaring weaknesses.
"Sakumo, are you willing to go?" Minato Namikaze asked.
Hatake Sakumo glanced at his uncle, stood up, and said, "Yes!"
Minato Namikaze then asked Hiashi and Fugaku, "Do either of you have any objections to sending those two on this mission?"
"We defer to Lord Hokage!" the two answered.
"Good, then it's settled. The operation to capture Danzo in the Land of Rice Fields will be designated an S-Rank Mission! Hatake Sakumo will lead the team, with Shisui Uchiha and Hizashi Hyuga as its members. They will infiltrate the Land of Rice Fields and complete this mission!" Minato Namikaze declared.
With the matter settled, everyone left the meeting room, leaving only Hatake Ziyan, Sakumo, and Minato.
