Ichiraku asked why Ziyan had returned to Konoha, and Ziyan said Mito had asked him to look after two people, leaving Ichiraku questioning whether he truly cared about the village.

After defeating Sasori’s human puppets, Ziyan invited him to join his organization while Sasori continued turning the Kazekage into a puppet.
