A gentle breeze brushed past, stirring Gion's long hair.
She looked down at the rabbit-eared girl before her, her gaze assessing, with a hint of hostility that was difficult to detect.
"Who are you looking for?" Lipo tilted her head, her pink eyes full of confusion. "Did you need something?"
"My name is Gion." Looking at Lipo, Gion narrowed her eyes slightly, her tone cool. "So you're the rabbit Gern brought back?"
"I have a name. It's Lipo Hope, not Rabbit." Lipo frowned, her floppy ears swaying gently. She clearly wasn't happy with that description.
"Lipo Hope." Gion gave a soft huff, her gaze sweeping over Lipo's entire body, especially her chest.
Her figure is every bit as good as mine. Looks like Tokikake left something out... With that thought, Gion continued in an unfriendly tone.
"So you're Commodore Gern's adjutant?"
"That's right!" Lipo blinked, seemingly oblivious to the barb in Gion's words. Instead, she gave her a radiant smile.
"I'm Gern's Justice Partner and his new adjutant, Second Lieutenant Lipo!"
Faced with Lipo's personality, Gion was momentarily at a loss for words at her innocence, and her brow furrowed even more.
"Justice Partner? Heh. Since when did Gern like such childish titles?"
She remembered perfectly well that, during the Fifth Mixer, Gern had personally told her
that he liked her cool, aloof, mature demeanor. He even thought that was exactly what made her attractive.
