"I bet your next line is, 'So what the hell is going on?'"
In the midst of his busy work, Joseph's ears twitched. He turned and pointed at Jotaro, the corners of his mouth curling wildly upward.
Jotaro: (눈益눈)
"So what the hell is going on?" Jotaro was dumbfounded, veins bulging uncontrollably on his forehead. What was wrong with his grandfather? Had he been this obnoxious when he was young?
But Joseph, currently occupied with beating up Alessi, clearly had neither the interest nor the time to answer his not-so-adorable grandson.
He merely pressed his palm down slightly, then turned back to pummeling Alessi.
Jotaro: (눈_눈)
"Pfft."
After holding it in for ages, Jean Pierre Polnareff finally cracked.
Jotaro: (눈益눈)
That only made him angrier!
Still, despite his anger, he seemed to have figured something out.
Under the influence of some power, Sethan's reversal was incomplete. The reason Joseph still had his Stand wasn't simply that he had possessed one in his younger days. Even if he hadn't had a Stand back then, he would still have one now.
Because Sethan's reversal was currently acting solely as a positive buff.
Even as the body returned to its youth, the energy within it remained conserved, and the same went for mental power.
Or rather, it was a one-sided sort of conservation. If the present level was higher than the past, it retained the present level. If the past level was higher than the present, it retained the past level. In short, it only ever brought someone to their peak.
Which raised a question: the original Sethan clearly had no such ability. Its reversal was comprehensive, returning every aspect of someone's condition to childhood. Apart from possibly being unable to restore lost limbs, everything else would become just as it had been
