An Huai stepped out of the iron cage and looked around the room.
Shock was written all over her face.
Everything here was rotten and steeped in sin.
Most striking of all was an entire wall hung with all kinds of implements.
Some were rusty; others were stained with blood and unidentified grime.
An Huai frowned. She could not imagine what those torture-like implements would do to a person.

An Huai came back to herself, approached the cage, and raised her pistol to aim at the lock.
"Wait." Yin Chao stopped her, then pointed to the other side. "There are keys over there..."
An Huai turned her head and blinked, but her hand resolutely pulled the trigger anyway.
Yin Chao had no time to cover his ears. He felt as though his eardrums were about to shatter.
He brushed the scattered iron fragments off himself and climbed out of the cage, looking utterly speechless.
"That was a little too barbaric."
