"Which two people are gone?"
The players began counting heads, checking against their memories.
Bo Yi, however, reached a conclusion the moment he swept his gaze around the dining room-Huang Xiaolu and Sun Er were gone.
Soon, the other players worked out the list of "missing persons" too and began discussing it. "How did they just disappear?"
"Where are the bodies? If they're dead, where did their bodies go?" one player asked anxiously. Bodies in an instance were valuable clues!
"Could they be in their rooms? Has anyone checked?"
"Did anyone see them after we split up this morning?"
"Damn it, how did those two die? Why didn't we hear anything..."
Hear anything? Bo Yi suddenly recalled the two agonized screams he had heard in the study earlier.
As everyone was discussing it, two servant NPCs suddenly walked in, each carrying a jar of wine.
"Master." One of the servants bowed. "The freshly brewed Beloved Wine is ready. Shall we serve it to the guests now?"
"Master Kang" glanced at the two wine jars. He paused for a few seconds before nodding, as though he had remembered something. "Yes."
The servants acknowledged his order, then approached the table and began pouring wine for the players.
Bright red wine flowed into porcelain-white cups.
"This wine smells so good..." Thanks to his convenient seat, the first player to be served raised his cup to his nose, closed his eyes, and savored its scent. He even swallowed as he sniffed.
After all, he hadn't drunk any water since entering this instance, only taking little sips of wine whenever he was thirsty. He wasn't sure whether it was because he had drunk too much, but he found the wine increasingly irresistible.
"It really does." The second player to receive his wine held the cup
