Bo Yi straightened up beside the bed. Before leaving the room, though, he remembered what he had come back for-he picked up the hospital gown on his bed, slipped it on over his own clothes, then opened the door and walked out.
He was in luck. As soon as he stepped outside, he spotted another player standing at the door to his room.
"You..." Bo Yi had barely spoken when the door to the ward beside that player opened. Another player stepped out and, taking advantage of being closer, struck up a conversation with the person Bo Yi had intended to approach.
"Is the player assigned to the same ward as me your teammate?"
The player who had already been standing in the doorway looked wary. "Why are you asking?"
The player asking the question waved a hand. "Don't worry..."
"I wanted to ask if you'd like to switch rooms."
"Huh?" The other player's wary expression faltered. "Switch rooms?"
"Yeah..." The player asking looked as if it were perfectly obvious. "I'll get straight to the point. My teammate was assigned to your room."
"So if you're okay with it, you and I can swap. That way, we'll both be sharing a room with our teammates, and we can look out for each other..."
The other player was clearly tempted, but he still had a few reservations. "...Does the Instance allow that?" Clearly, he was still very cautious about the Instance's unknown rules.
"It should be fine..." The player who had suggested switching rooms scratched his head. "Look, there aren't any patient cards at the heads of our assigned beds, and the keys the nurse gave us don't have names on them..."
"If you're worried, we can stick to our assigned beds during the
