Oh~ ho ho ho~
Sweet medicinal liquid poured steadily from the spout into Ning Tian's mouth.
Too much flooded in at once, catching Ning Tian off guard and making her choke. She immediately began coughing softly, her shoulders trembling slightly.
Some of the liquid went down her throat into her body, while a little of the glistening medicine spilled past her tender pink lips, slowly trickling down and dripping onto her clothes.
The warm medicinal power traveled down her throat into her internal organs, then slowly flowed through the meridians throughout her body.
A cozy warmth gradually spread through her limbs and bones. Her martial soul had not reached the stage of evolving yet; her body had merely begun absorbing the essence of the aromatic silk beauty in advance.
Ning Tian felt her entire body grow slightly warm, her limbs gradually becoming weak and limp.
A thick carpet with intricate patterns lay on the ground in the square, cool moonlight spilling over its exquisite designs.
Chen Jie and Ning Tian lay down together on the soft carpet.
They lay on their sides, their bodies nestled tightly together.
Ning Tian rested her head against Chen Jie's waist, while Chen Jie brought his head close to her abdomen.
They reached out, their arms entwining as they held each other tightly.
A slightly chilly night breeze swept across the empty statue square, while watery moonlight quietly enveloped the two people on the carpet.
Warmth continued to move slowly through Ning Tian's body.
Her breathing remained somewhat rapid, her long, pale-gold hair scattered across the carpet.
"So warm... You were too hasty just now. You made me choke." Ning Tian spoke with a faint breathlessness, her body trembling slightly.
Feeling the faint trembling of the woman in his arms, Chen Jie said calmly, "That's how it is the first time you drink medicine containing so much medicinal power."
The medicinal power of the aromatic silk beauty quietly seeped into her meridians and soul, slowly laying the foundation for her martial soul's eventual transformation.
They remained tightly embraced, lying quietly on the carpet.
Time slipped slowly by, and they stayed like that for a long while. Eventually, Chen Jie spoke first, breaking the stillness beneath the night sky:
"It's getting late. You should head back first. Don't let anyone get suspicious."
Startled by his words, Ning Tian hurriedly shifted away from Chen Jie and sat up, quickly straightening her slightly disheveled clothes.
Faint traces of moisture still lingered on her lips, which were slightly red and swollen.
She unconsciously raised a hand and gently rubbed her lips. A hint of longing quietly rose in her heart, the moments they had just shared still circling through her mind.
Ning Tian lowered her eyes, a trace of reluctance hidden in her purple gaze, and answered softly, "Mm, I understand."
Chen Jie got up and accompanied Ning Tian out of the statue square.
Night shrouded all of Shrek Academy as they walked slowly side by side along its stone paths, heading toward Ning Tian's dormitory.
The cool night breeze blew past, lifting Ning Tian's long, pale-gold hair.
Along the way, she occasionally stole a sideways glance at Chen Jie beside her, that faint longing still lingering in her heart.
When they reached the courtyard entrance outside the girls' dormitory, Ning Tian stopped and turned to face Chen Jie.
She hesitated briefly, then looked up at him and asked softly:
"Then... how many times will it take before you're willing to give me the real aromatic silk beauty?"
Chen Jie's gaze settled on the slightly red, swollen corners of her mouth. He reached out and gently pinched her beautiful, spirited face, a faint smile curling his lips:
"That will depend on your performance..."
The night was hazy, and the dormitory surroundings were utterly quiet. Ning Tian's cheeks flushed at once. She lowered her head slightly, a jumble of emotions stirring in her heart.
With a faint blush on her cheeks, Ning Tian gave Chen Jie one last look, then turned and walked through the dormitory entrance. Her figure soon disappeared into the shadows inside.
When she returned to her room, Wu Feng was waiting inside.
Seeing Ning Tian push open the door, Wu Feng immediately approached. Her gaze first fell on Ning Tian's slightly damp uniform, and she asked in bewilderment:
"Miss, where did you go? Why are your clothes wet?"
Ning Tian hurriedly explained, "I was drinking water outside and didn't hold it steady. I accidentally got my clothes wet."
Before she had finished speaking, Wu Feng looked up and keenly spotted Ning Tian's slightly red, swollen lips. Her expression instantly tightened, and she demanded anxiously and angrily:
"And what happened to your mouth? It's so red and swollen. Did someone bully you? Was it that bastard Chen Jie?"
Ning Tian's heart tightened. She hastily looked away, her ears turning red, and quickly denied it. "It has nothing to do with him. Don't jump to conclusions."
Wu Feng still refused to let it go. She moved a little closer and sniffed gently, her gaze growing even more puzzled. "Then why is there a strange smell on you, miss?"
Ning Tian's heart jolted. Impossible. Everything had clearly been specially treated.
Outwardly, she forced herself to remain composed and offered a casual excuse. "Maybe something rubbed off on me somewhere."
Still flustered, Ning Tian dared not say anything more. She guiltily avoided Wu Feng's probing gaze and hurried to the wardrobe to change, afraid that any flaw in her story might be exposed.
Meanwhile.
Chen Jie stood where he was for a few seconds, then turned and walked slowly back to the boys' dormitory through the night.
When he pushed open the dorm room door, the room was brightly lit.
Wang Dong was leaning beside her bed. Seeing him return so late, she suddenly knitted her brows, her tone plainly accusatory and displeased:
"What were you doing? Why are you only getting back now?"
Chen Jie casually closed the door behind him and answered offhandedly, his expression unruffled. "Nothing much. I discussed a deal worth a few hundred million with the young master of the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. It took a little longer than expected."
Hearing this, Wang Dong immediately pressed him. "Is that young master a man or a woman?"
"A woman," Chen Jie answered frankly.
The moment he finished speaking, Wang Dong got up and walked over to him. She brought her nose close and sniffed carefully, her eyes filled with suspicion and jealousy.
She stared fixedly at Chen Jie, her tone thoroughly accusatory:
"That's not right. You two weren't just talking business, were you? And why does your breath smell a little strange?"
A trace of amusement flickered in Chen Jie's eyes. Remaining calm and composed, he brushed her off lightly. "I ate something just now. Stop worrying about every little thing. If you want some, I can bring you some next time."
At his words, Wang Dong's eyebrows shot up, her cheeks puffing slightly as she glared at Chen Jie with wide eyes, her heart brimming with jealousy.
She took half a step back, folded her arms across her chest, and pressed her lips tightly together.
"...? Who goes outside in the middle of the night to eat photinia!" Wang Dong snapped, her voice rising slightly. She did not believe his excuse for a moment.
Her gaze continued sweeping over Chen Jie's face, trying to find a crack in his expression.
A faint smell clearly still lingered on him, and Wang Dong simply could not get past it.
She turned her head aside and gave a sulky snort:
"Who wants to eat any photo...! I think you're deliberately fooling me! I'm not letting you off so easily for coming back late tonight."
With that, Wang Dong turned around, stomped over to her bed, and plopped down with her back to Chen Jie, clearly sulking.
Only the quiet lamplight remained in the room, and the atmosphere grew a little strained.
