During the practical combat assessment, she teams up with Wu Feng and Nanmen Yun’er against Chen Jie, Lan Susu, and Lan Luoluo. Her enhancements strengthen both teammates, but the twins restrain them while Chen Jie attacks her directly. Pursuit of Aromatic Silk Beauty

After witnessing Chen Jie’s ice martial soul and rapid advancement to five rings, Ning Tian becomes increasingly interested in his cultivation opportunities. His mention of immortal herbs prompts her to ask about Aromatic Silk Beauty, which she believes could reproduce her ancestor Ning Rongrong’s evolution from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda to the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda 30.

She also invites Chen Jie to join her Freshman Assessment team, arguing that her support would complement his offensive strength. He rejects the invitation and chooses the Lan sisters instead 31.

At their private meeting in Sea God Square, Ning Tian offers soul bones, sect cultivation manuals, and future sect support in exchange for the herb. Her cultivation and sect responsibilities dominate her priorities. She confidently promotes her value as a teammate and is willing to endure personal humiliation for a chance to overcome her martial soul’s limitations and revive the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect 30 31 37 38.
