Outside Xinda Supermarket.
After glancing around, Lin Yi walked straight into the supermarket.
The supermarket was dark because the power had gone out, but he could still make out the mess inside. Clearly, the townspeople had swept through the place after the apocalypse began.
Most of the supermarket's goods were still there. The first floor stocked fruit, meat products, vegetables, and the like, all of which had grown moldy and rotten, giving off a foul stench.
A layer of water covered the floor, mixed with the fluids that had seeped from the rotting food.
Lin Yi made his way inside. Rather than searching this floor for supplies, he headed straight up to the second floor.
The second floor stocked everyday goods. Although it was rather dark, the selection was still quite complete, with plenty of items sitting on the shelves.
Lin Yi went over to the household goods section and carefully examined the shelves. Before long, he found some portable flashlights.
They were high-powered flashlights that switched on with a press of the button at the back, and they worked quite well.
Lin Yi put the flashlights away, keeping one out as he began walking around. He also stowed away plenty of snacks from the snack section.

Instant noodles were another priority. He even took a gas-powered cooking pot, along with some unopened, sealed portable gas canisters beside it. They were clearly part of a complete set.
Once he had packed away almost enough, Lin Yi found a backpack and stuffed it full.
