Rhode was actually making all of this up.

The Reconnaissance Robot Type 007 was still a Type 007, after all. It had not been upgraded to a Type 008 or Type 009, so of course its functions had not changed much. At most, he had optimized some of its logic and fixed a few bugs.

So it had no recording function.

He very much wanted a recording function, but implementing one was difficult.

It would require the arcane golem to collect everything it saw and heard, store it somewhere, and then play it back.

No matter how he looked at it, that did not seem like something a relatively low-level spell could accomplish.

Of course, some scenes in the game did seem to suggest that similar things were possible.

For instance, those large playback devices made with titan technology could display all sorts of things.

Then there were the historical scenes the Pandaren Lorewalker Cho showed by burning incense in Pandaria.

And the images of the past that Thrall summoned through some shamanic ritual when he returned home to Nagrand.

There were also the illusions conjured by some high-level mages, of course.

But those things seemed rather different from the "camera" function Rhode wanted. They were probably images drawn from the users' minds, rather than recordings of actual events.

After all, there was hardly likely to have been a camera nearby when Grom Hellscream swung his axe at the Pit Lord Mannoroth...

Rhode would have to take his time researching that later.

Perhaps, by combining one of those methods with the arcane golem's reconnaissance function, he might be able to come up with something.

But he did not need it right now.

Because his words had clearly already intimidated the Shadow Stealth Stalker.
