Rhode remembered that place. It was littered with crystals in all sorts of colors-red, blue, yellow, and green. Players gathered them for quests, and eventually used them to craft items that granted buffs.

If he remembered correctly, Un'Goro Crater was a testing ground for the Titan gods. Those crystals might well have been a form of energy the Titans had left behind!

No, there was no need for "might."

The Goblin before him, Puzik, had clearly discovered them already and put them to use in his race cars.

Rhode couldn't help feeling excited.

If Puzik had those crystals, wouldn't that solve the energy core problem for his Magic Mech?

They were a product of titan technology, after all. The energy crystals surely could release vast amounts of magical energy and serve as the mech's power source!

"Oh, so energy crystals are that useful." Suppressing his excitement, Rhode asked Puzik, "I've heard they come in all sorts of colors. Could you show me a couple? Let me broaden my horizons?"

Puzik gave Rhode a sidelong glance. "You know about energy crystals? But it looks like you only know half the story. No, no, no, no. Do you think you can just plug those crystals in and use them? No, you're being far too naive! The crystals are useless on their own. I have to analyze them with precision instruments, then refine them before they're usable! Worse still, every crystal seems to have a slightly different composition, so the failure rate is very high... Which means the ones in these two race cars are the only two finished products I currently have."
