Rhode's eyes widened when he suddenly heard that name.
He hadn't seen Arthas since they parted in Lordaeron. How had their next encounter turned into some protection mission?
As the prince of Lordaeron and a Paladin of the Order of the Silver Hand, shouldn't he have all kinds of guards escorting him whenever he went out? Why would Ravenholdt Manor need to get involved?

Besides, if an assassin really did kill Arthas, well... wouldn't that be doing the people of Azeroth a favor? After all, it would mean getting rid of the future Lich King.
So Rhode immediately put his string of questions to Hakkar. "Where is Arthas now? Who wants to assassinate him? Why does Ravenholdt Manor want to protect him?"
"I hear he's on his way here, accompanied by his sister," Hakkar replied calmly. "According to our intelligence, the Syndicate has dispatched several groups to intercept and kill them. And... they're doing it in Ravenholdt Manor's name. Duke Jorach Ravenholdt was furious and decided to send people to eliminate these enemies."
