The residential district and school under construction were almost finished!
That was certainly good news.
Completing the residential district meant the Southshore region could accommodate more people, and people meant productivity-and, to some extent, fighting strength.
After all, Rhode needed more soldiers as well as farmers and workers!
The school, meanwhile, was where he would train his own elite fighters. More powerful mages meant a stronger army!
Of course, it might train more than just mages.
For instance, as he had promised Chen Stormstout, adding something like a "Monk department" to train melee troops seemed like a pretty good idea.
Or he could have Sally set up a "healing department" to train some healers. That would be great.
If more powerful experts joined the teaching staff, Rhode would not mind adding departments for rogues, warriors, hunters, and the like...
Of course, that would make the school's original name unsuitable.
