Soon, Rhode spotted a crowd of Ravenholdt Manor assassins gathered on a patch of level ground up ahead.

"Are you stupid?" The Green-Scarf Assassin didn't even turn around. "That's four thousand gold coins. If we all attack together, how are we supposed to split it?"

Now that was the real "code of honor" these assassins cared about.

"What if you can't beat him?" Rhode asked again.

The Green-Scarf Assassin snorted. "There are so many of us. How could we possibly lose to him? We're just seeing who gets lucky enough to beat him and pocket all four thousand gold coins!"

"Oh..." Rhode stopped asking questions and turned to watch the fight.

He had just used Teleport twice anyway and needed a little rest. There was no hurry to join in.

Up ahead, Duke Foulcrest suddenly sprang off the ground like a compressed spring, both blades pointing straight at the Yellow-Scarf Assassin as he rose into the air.

"That's a powerful move." The Green-Scarf Assassin's expression changed slightly. "You can't reach that kind of speed without enough strength in your waist and elbows. Listen to that sound."
