"Huh, you know Ice Block too? Hey, not bad." Rhode couldn't help praising him.
Not just any mage could learn an advanced ice spell like that.
And an Ice Block cast by an ordinary mage might not have stopped that attack, either. That meant Morgann's mana really was formidable.
Just then, under Morgann's heartbroken gaze, the gemstone on his chest shattered.
I went through hell to steal that gemstone, and now it's gone! Morgann reeled inwardly. How can this Rhode be so strong?
Rhode understood now, too.
He had borrowed the gemstone's power.
It was much like how Rhode often drew on the power of his Fire Orbs when casting spells.
The difference was that the Fire Orbs were now one with him. He didn't have to sacrifice a gemstone like Morgann to temporarily gain powerful mana.
By now, the Defias members were beginning to realize something was wrong.
The Brotherhood's strongest twins, their leader's right-hand men, had both joined the fight, yet Rhode was still handling them with ease, two against one!
"He's fighting our two strongest chiefs alone and still has the upper hand. How can he be so powerful?"
Garrick and the others gasped.
"We've hardly ever seen either Maltin or Morgann lose. But Rhode has them pinned down with almost no way to fight back. He's like an adult playing with children. He isn't even taking this seriously!"
"Is this the power of a god-level fighter? That's terrifying."
Everyone was shaken.
On the other side, Archmage Marin was all smiles.
Although he had already witnessed Rhode's power in Dalaran, he had still worried a little after seeing how formidable the Defias Brotherhood's experts were.
Now, though, that worry seemed rather unnecessary.
Lilia, on the other hand, looked thoroughly annoyed.
Rhode had snatched away another chance for
