Drake continued his ghost story. "The traveler noticed nothing unusual during the day. But that night, he saw five or six children appear out of thin air in his room. They stood facing the wall in a strange formation, ignoring everything the traveler said to them. Each child wore an eerie expression, and then they slowly vanished into the wall..."

"Ah, that really is a terrifying ghost story..." Sally took a step back, though whether she was genuinely frightened or just putting on a show for Lilia was anyone's guess.

Lilia shook her head over and over, her hands still firmly covering her ears.

Targ looked at Rhode, so Rhode had no choice but to translate for him.

"Oh, five or six human children?" Targ chuckled. "Targ loves eating human children best."

Rhode summoned a small Mage Hand and gently patted one of Targ's heads.

Well, the Ogre was too tall. Even if Rhode jumped, he couldn't reach his head, so he needed a tool.

They had grown fairly close by now, and Targ had always treated Rhode with respect. A pat on the head was more a gesture of affection than anything else.

"No more talking about eating people," Rhode warned him. "Especially with a child here!"

Whether Lilia understood him or not, he wasn't going to let Targ talk about that.

"Yes, boss. Targ understands."

Rhode had actually heard Drake's ghost story before.

It was a fairly famous ghost story in Azeroth, apparently. He hadn't expected it to be just as well known in this real world.

Well, at least it wasn't some other strange story.

Imagining the scene Drake had described and putting himself in the traveler's shoes, Rhode had to admit that the atmosphere was rather frightening.

"All right, the story's over. Time to go in."
