Rhode helped expose Mal'Ganis, free Stromgarde, and establish a united Alliance against the Scourge while expanding his school, farms, and Hearthstone project. The arc ended with Dreamfoil cultivation failing and reports that people in Alterac had fallen seriously ill, prompting Rhode to investigate.

• Rhode used Nagaz's Demon Stone to free Arthas, Lilia, Sally, and Kienlo, then helped Thoradin confront Mal'Ganis in Stromgarde.
• Rhode persuaded Thoradin and Arthas to prepare a coalition against the Scourge, and Thoradin rewarded him with Northridge Farm and the title “Pride of Stromgarde.”

Rhode helped the Frostwolves settle at Alterac Keep, stopped the troll and Cult of the Damned threats, and pursued the trail of Lilia’s missing sister. He rescued the captive High Elf Rangers from Arugal, but Lalinf, Dailiya, and other villagers had already been exposed to the Worgen Potion, leaving Rhode to seek a cure.

• Rhode brought Thrall and the Frostwolf Clan to Alterac Keep, where Thrall used water totems to cleanse the fel and Rhode successfully cultivated felweed.
• Rhode joined Falstad Wildhammer’s fight against Zalaz Witherbark’s trolls, destroyed the Venomous Spider Queen, and defeated Ras Frostwhisper.
• Rhode uncovered Balnazzar’s plot to spread plague through infected corn, burned the corn, and learned that Quel'Danil Lodge’s rangers had disappeared.
• Rhode visited Gilneas to teach its mages, exposed his power at the academy, and learned from Kandray that Arugal had captured High Elf Rangers in Pyrewood Village.
• Rhode and Lilia entered Pyrewood Village, where they discovered Arugal’s Worgen experiments and found Lalinf and Dailiya had drunk the potion.
• Rhode defeated Arugal’s mages, killed Arugal when he tried to escape, and freed Galinde and the other imprisoned High Elf Rangers.
• Lilia reunited with Galinde, while Rhode arranged to seek permission for the rangers to remain near Southshore and promised to find a way to help the potion’s victims.

Rhode defeated Kel'Thuzad and destroyed his phylactery, earning a promotion and acclaim across Azeroth. After winning a duel with Kael'thas and helping Antonidas recover, Rhode set out with Marin and Lilia to investigate the Dark Cult, but bandits blocked their way in Elwynn Forest.

• Rhode treated Lalinf and Dailiya's transformations, recruited them, and brought them along after they defeated Warden in a spar.
• Rhode led an expedition to the gnolls near Windvale Village and persuaded Lalinf and Dailiya's followers to aid the humans.
• Rhode discovered Kandray had placed a bounty on him, then tracked Duke Foulcrest to Lake Lordamere and killed him after learning of Kel'Thuzad's plans.
• Rhode enchanted the Thought Acceleration Gemstone into a Fire Orb and led a search into Tirisfal Glades, where he found the Scourge and uncovered Kel'Thuzad's hidden forces.

At Rivendare's manor, he uncovered the Baron's Scourge ties and forced him to surrender, learning that Dar'Khan was behind the scheme involving the Sun King and the Moon Crystals.

• Rhode killed Johnsen and defeated VanCleef's fighters, but Twilight Lord Everun arrived and used the gemstones to summon four Abyssal Council dukes.
• Rhode killed the dukes and defeated Aewolan, then survived Onyxia and Krixix's bombing and helped Varian's forces bring down Onyxia.
• Rhode exposed Benedictus's shadow magic in Stormwind and defeated him in a duel, then received news of his elevation to Archmage and Anasterian's challenge.
• Rhode and Lilia traveled to Corin's Crossing under assumed names, where Baron Rivendare tried to buy Rhode's runes and recruit him.
• Rhode and Lilia defeated Maleki's attackers, exposed Rivendare's Scourge treachery, and killed Skul and Ramstein when the Baron set them against Lilia.
