Background / History
Otherworldly Origin
The system initially attributes deviations in Douluo’s history to “Outer Realm Demonic Devils.” Mosheng Fei interprets this as a reference to Tang San’s transmigration 1.
Mosheng Fei then writes an account in which an Outer Realm God brings a foreign soul into Douluo, overcomes the Angel God’s resistance, and places that soul in Tang Hao and Ah Yin’s infant. The record dates the possession and rebirth to January 11, Douluo Calendar Year 2631, calling it a demonic invasion and a point of historical divergence 2.
Tang San rejects the accusation of possession. He claims that he merely retained memories of his previous life. Tang Hao outwardly accepts this explanation, although his private thoughts acknowledge that the soul inside his child’s body is no longer his original child’s 2 4.
Reliability of the Historical Records
The revelations are not merely neutral recordings. The Shengfei Pen makes what it records into the final historical trajectory, and Mosheng Fei deliberately supplies divine intervention as an explanation for Tang Hao’s otherwise implausible victory over Spirit Hall 1 2.
This distinction becomes explicit when Mosheng Fei assigns Tang San responsibility for Huo Yuhao’s weakened fortune, childhood mistreatment, and mother’s early death. The narration states that this chain of causality will fall upon Tang San whether or not he originally orchestrated every event 24.
Appearance
- Childhood appearance: Black hair, black eyes, and an ordinary face described by the records as dark and ugly 5 16.
- Humanlike body: Despite the “beastman” designation, his appearance is described as no different from a normal person’s 5.
- Concealment: Wears a human-face mask while hiding at Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy 10.
- Divine appearance: His future Sea God incarnation wears Sea God Divine Armor 25.
Personality
When his origin is exposed, Tang San becomes frantic and defensive, repeatedly denying possession and pleading for Tang Hao’s belief. He later promises repayment and divine opportunities to potential patrons as revelations threaten his support 2 12 13.
He is fiercely protective of Xiao Wu, confronting three Titled Douluos and revealing his Clear Sky Hammer rather than abandoning her 10 11.
His future God King incarnation treats the World Will’s resistance as defiance of his authority. On detecting its chosen child, he immediately considers how to bring that child under his control. After Mosheng Fei wounds him, he orders Tang Wutong to recruit Mosheng Fei “whatever the cost” 15 16.

Limits:
- Mosheng Fei’s karmic substitution turns the Asura sword attack back upon him, inflicting a grave wound 16.
- The injury to his Asura divine position remains incompletely healed when they meet again in the Divine Realm 25.
Fate Interference and Control
Tang San detects Huo Yuhao as the child nurtured by the World Will to oppose him and plans to neutralize that threat through his daughter and a son-in-law relationship 14 15.
- The rewritten records attribute Huo Yuhao’s weakened birth condition, level-one innate soul power, and hostile upbringing to his interference 24.
- Takes what he believes to be Huo Yun’er’s soul after overpowering the World Will; Mosheng Fei secretly substitutes and preserves her actual soul 23.
- The exposed future shows Huo Yuhao becoming his son-in-law and returning to the Dai clan under his oppression 24.
