The first sound was the Level 3 Mechanical Warrior's left fist smashing brutally into Xia Jinbao's heart.
Xia Jinbao's heart shattered, leaving him on the brink of death.
The second sound was the Level 3 Mechanical Warrior's vital area being struck hard by that Sterilizing Kick.
However, from the sensory feedback of Xia Jinbao's attack, his right foot seemed to have struck a piece of steel, not a vital part of a human body.
"How is that possible?"
"Why doesn't the Night Knight have any balls?"
At that moment, just before his death, Xia Jinbao's eyes flew wide open as he stared at the Level 3 Mechanical Warrior, who showed no sign of pain. His face was filled with disbelief.
Then, before Xia Jinbao could say anything else, his shattered heart caused blood to surge backward. He opened his mouth and violently spat out a mouthful of blackish-red blood.

Xia Jinbao's legs gave out, and he fell heavily to his knees. From behind him, a gaping bloody hole could be seen, with fragments of blood vessels and muscles still writhing within it.
Clearly, the Level 3 Mechanical Warrior's killing blow had not only shattered Xia Jinbao's heart, but pierced straight through his body as well.
Even though this Half-demon warrior possessed a formidable physique, the heart and brain were still vital, fatal points. If either of those locations sustained lethal damage, they would die.
At this point, twenty-three seconds had passed since the Level 3 Mechanical Warrior transformed.
"Guh... guh..."
Half-kneeling on the ground, Xia Jinbao opened his mouth as though he wanted to say something. Yet with blood flooding back into his throat, he could only force out four words. "You... you aren't human..."
