Jiang Che grabbed his arm. With a thought, a luminous white pillar descended from the void, enveloping them both.
Ye Qing felt a blazing radiance fill his vision and instinctively closed his eyes.
When he opened them again, he was in another world.
It was already late at night in Great Xia, yet here the skies remained clear and bright. Ye Qing looked around and discovered that this world was pitifully small, more like an isolated "estate" within a special plane.
The estate had no gates. Gardens bursting with flowers flanked the path. Ye Qing noticed that some plants with entirely different flowering seasons were blooming together here, seemingly ignoring the changing seasons. It was a dazzling sight.
Behind the gardens lay an enormous training ground. A pillar of light at its center stretched into the sky, as though connecting to All Heavens, with sun and moon emblems hanging on either side.
Jiang Che pulled him along and directed his gaze ahead. An enormous villa had appeared before him without him noticing.
"This is..." Ye Qing froze for a moment. A magnificent plaque hung above the villa's entrance:
