- Battlefield delegation: Of ten initial Battlefield Tokens, Yi Tian receives five to allocate. Headquarters assigns the remaining five to Wei Yuan, Ling Hua, Jiang Yuan Shuang, Chu Chen, and Ling Luo 245.
- Later leadership: Wan Jiang presides over national strategy discussions as Headquarters’ highest-ranking leader 461.
Important Locations
- Qingcheng: Wei Yuan’s hometown and the location of Second High School. Its city lord and Garrison Army respond to the dungeon crisis 6 87.
- Dingcheng: A border city formerly shared with the Yagu Dynasty under an uneasy peace agreement. No Great Xia civilians remain there when Yi Tian first visits; Great Xia later gains sole control 9 59.
- Hidden Dragon Base: An elite training organization headed by Ling Luo, whose Classholders represent Great Xia in international competition 58 197 206.
- Huaxing University: One of Great Xia’s finest universities, located in East China. Eleven years after the war, its classrooms include students from other races across the worlds 460.
Yagu Continent
- Becomes Great Xia’s subordinate territory after its first complete victory in a War of Supremacy 157.
- Supplies eight medium secret realms and dozens of small secret realms; its resource sites may be relocated to Great Xia 157 159.
- Great Xia gains authority to establish the continent’s laws, regulate its races, and restrict their living areas 157.
- Yi Tian receives 50% of the decision-making authority as the war’s greatest contributor. Five Great Xia representatives receive 10% each 157.
- Great Xia can travel freely to the continent, while beings from the continent require permission to enter Great Xia 157.
- Later suffers a meteor catastrophe, forcing dragons and Great Xia Classholders toward the military-controlled passage. Yi Tian discovers Yggdrasil uprooted and disintegrating 382.
Xia City
| Feature | Level 1 | Level 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Builder / Upgrader | Yi Tian 252 | Wan Jiang, using materials gathered with Jiang Che 268 |
| Defense Tier | Third Tier 252 | Fifth Tier 268 |
| City Talents | Iron Wall: increases Great Xia members’ battlefield defense by 20% 252 | Retains Iron Wall and adds Dragon’s Roar, preventing attacking Other Races from acting for one second 268 |
| Token Rewards | One Battlefield Token 252 | Three Battlefield Tokens 268 |
| National Effects | Fortune Level 1 has no additional effects 252 | Increased spiritual energy, slightly higher secret-realm output, and improved high-quality drop rates 268 |
- Initially resembles a small castle rather than a full city, with room for a garrison of fewer than one hundred 252.
- Allows some battlefield gains to be brought back to Great Xia 252.
- Its destruction would end Great Xia’s eligibility for that Myriad Races Battlefield and damage the civilization’s fortune 252.
- Its fortune blessing also benefits demons such as the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan through faster cultivation, possible evolution, and increased longevity from absorbing spiritual power 268.
History
Early Supernatural Era
Great Xia has only about two hundred years of supernatural history when Wei Yuan explains its disadvantage against the Yagu Dynasty, whose foundations extend back several thousand years. Prolonged wars against Other Races and Evil Demons repeatedly exhaust Great Xia’s reserves 9 59.
Its first God-Tier Classholder, the Starry Sky Guardian, appears a hundred years before the main story. He protects the nation for nearly twenty years and is remembered for a prophecy promising a savior who will repeatedly turn back disasters threatening Great Xia and the world 54 164.
The recorded account of his death is later revisited through Lu Xinghe’s time travel. Lu Xinghe identifies him as the reincarnated God King, arranges to kill the three Demon Heavenly Kings in his place, and persuades him to hide in planetary form until the present. The Guardian returns after eighty years of observing Great Xia’s development 456 457.
Defensive Stalemate and Yi Tian’s Cooperation
Before Yi Tian’s rise, Great Xia faces decades of pressure across all five theaters. Its strongest conventional fighting force consists of eight level-74 Legendary Classholders, while random class assignment leaves officials uncertain when another capable successor will emerge 10 54 59.
Yi Tian chooses to cooperate with the nation after revealing that he can change other people’s classes non-randomly. Wei Yuan becomes a principal supporter of this partnership, hoping the new generation can reverse East China’s repeated losses 6 9.
Conflict with the Yagu Dynasty
Great Xia initially maintains a tense arrangement with the Yagu Dynasty over Dingcheng and competition rewards. Repeated defeats have already cost it twenty-seven small secret realms. Yagu envoys escalate their demands to two Great Xia cities while using negotiations to investigate East China’s military strength 9 15.
Yi Tian’s team wins a medium secret realm and agrees to provide its resource output to East China. Great Xia then defeats the Yagu Dynasty 5–1 in the Race Championship. When the Crimson Emperor refuses to honor the wager, Wei Yuan declares war; the contract’s backlash forces Yagu’s leaders to retreat, leaving Dingcheng entirely under Great Xia’s control 29 58 59.
After the Dungeon descent, the White Emperor launches another invasion through Dingcheng and formally begins a War of Supremacy. Great Xia repels the assault, kills the Crimson Emperor, and captures the Eternal Spear. It then counterattacks the Yagu Continent 123 124 128.
Great Xia fulfills two victory conditions: seizing two-thirds of Yagu’s resource sites and eliminating its five strongest individuals. The continent becomes a subordinate territory, and Yi Tian is recognized as the greatest contributor 154 157.
Dungeon Descent and Lu Xinghe’s Timelines
Great Xia mobilizes troops throughout the nation before the Dungeon descent. Headquarters suspends foreign requests for aid rather than weaken its own defenses during the upheaval 122.
Lu Xinghe’s memories reveal hundreds of earlier timelines in which Great Xia suffers catastrophic losses. In some, Headquarters evacuates residents before ceding East China to Yagu and North China to the Ghost Race; in another, the nation contracts to one-fifth of its original territory 165 169 170.
These outcomes are distinct from Yi Tian’s present timeline. Yi Tian shows Lu Xinghe reports of almost no damage from the Dungeon descent and victory over the Yagu Continent. Lu Xinghe has no memory of Yi Tian from his previous lives, and Yi Tian identifies him—not himself—as the Child of Prophecy 174 175.
Shadow Realm War and Expanding Influence
Shadow Devouring Crescent Moon declares a deathmatch War of Supremacy against Great Xia. Unlike an ordinary supremacy war, victory requires eliminating the enemy’s active combat forces or destroying its world or nation 194.
Chen Mo eventually kills the Evil God, after which Yi Tian leads Great Xia’s forces into the Shadow Realm. The realm is completely destroyed rather than occupied, removing the persistent threat it poses to North China 335 345.
Great Xia’s influence expands through access to the Nether Sea, a partnership with the Ten Thousand Demons Kingdom, and victory in all four Olynx championships. The American Empire attempts to turn the awarded Super Large Secret Realm into a trap, expecting its level-100 World Boss to devastate Great Xia’s forces 213 296 310.
By the time Headquarters considers further territorial expansion, the Ghost Race has been wiped out and Great Xia has no remaining opponents on Blue Star apart from Abyssal Evil Demons. Its territory has not yet caught up with its military strength, however, and it still does not rule the whole planet 397 400.
War Against Demons Across the Worlds
Great Xia becomes the Human Race’s final stronghold as the Eternal Abyss threatens the worlds. Reinforcements gather from the Spirit Race, Titankind, and the Ten Thousand Demons Kingdom alongside Great Xia’s own fighters 459.
The later historical account records that Great Xia and its allies rout the Abyss and slay the Fallen Heaven Shaking God Holy Lord with Yi Tian’s help. Known as the War Against Demons Across the Worlds, the victory establishes the foundation of the Seven Gods Era 460.
Eleven years later, the nation enjoys prosperity backed by seven True Gods and its leading position in the rankings. Conflict continues: Great Xia declares war on the Black Emperor for attacking friendly neighbors, while Headquarters debates—but does not immediately authorize—a full invasion to eradicate the Abyss 460 461.
Military and Resources
Classholder Legions
- Early limitations: Resource scarcity leaves even elite troops poorly equipped; Wan Jiang’s reward for winning an East China recruit tournament is only a rare-grade weapon 401.
- Modernized forces: East China’s elite legions each exceed five thousand soldiers, average above level 60 in the third tier, and carry Epic equipment and synergistic Epic skills 401.
- Fire Dragon Corps: Combines different spells rather than merely stacking identical attacks. Its use of the principle that wood feeds fire produces legion attacks with fifth-tier destructive power 401.
- Wood Puppet Corps: Deploys enormous wooden constructs after the Fire Dragon Corps breaks enemy formations 401.
- Divine Beast support: White Tiger drives back a Horror Giant with Soul-Quelling Roar, while Black Tortoise divides the demon tide with a massive wave 401.
- Robot development: Yi Tian assigns 007 to help Headquarters manufacture robots. Mass-produced fourth-tier robots are considered a major opportunity, but producing them at that tier remains difficult 397.
Resources and Public Benefits
- Secret realms on the Yagu Continent and resources from the Nether Sea supply equipment production, military upgrades, and additional leveling opportunities 159 401.
- Following the Yagu victory, university Classholders receive an additional 30% in resource subsidies 159.
- Classholders with registered household residency receive a state-subsidized 30% equipment discount at regional trading houses 159.
- The Eternal Spear is protected after its capture because Great Xia’s fighters cannot initially wield it. It is eventually entrusted to Wan Jiang once the World Tree’s divine power no longer prevents its use 128 402.
Training and Class Development
- Yi Tian’s class-changing ability: Supplies the nation with powerful classes without relying on ordinary random assignment 6.
- Starfield Glory: Great Xia’s acquired Trial Secret Realm provides access to ranked duels and rewards, though Entry Tickets are scarce 77.
- Glory of Great Xia Club: Three years after the war, Yi Tian merges Team-Building with the club’s ability, allowing talents to train in other worlds and undertake requests from other races 463.
- Protected trials: The club incorporates instant resurrection and return upon death during a trial, making it a training ground for successive generations 463.
Foreign Relations
- Yagu Dynasty — Former border rival and uneasy partner over Dingcheng. Its defeat places the Yagu Continent under Great Xia’s rule 9 157.
- Elven Royal Family — Maintains friendly relations during Great Xia’s rise. Elf Queen Elvira cuts resource-shipment prices by 30% after the Yagu victory 159.
- Void Insect Race — Seeks a joint conquest with Yagu, but the Crimson Emperor rejects its overture. After Great Xia conquers the Yagu Continent, the Insect Mother relocates her entire race away from Han Country 44 49 159.
- American Empire — Attempts to weaken Great Xia using the Shadow Soul Cup and later a dangerous secret-realm expedition 197 213.
- Ghost Race — Loses access to the Nether Sea through Chen Mo’s authority and is later wiped out 296 397.
- Ten Thousand Demons Kingdom — Partners with Great Xia after Yi Tian offers development assistance and a chance for Demon King Kong to fight Titankind 310.
- Spirit Race and Titankind — Send major reinforcements for Great Xia’s final defense against the Abyss 459.
- Foreign applicants and vassals — On Yi Tian’s recommendation, requests to join Great Xia are rejected. Protection instead requires vassal status, regular resource payments, and obedience; long-standing friendly races receive different treatment 397.
- Black Emperor — Becomes a declared enemy after repeatedly attacking Great Xia’s friendly neighbors in the postwar era 460.
