At dawn, White Snow led two hundred rogue cultivators as the Star Phoenix Alliance toward the Star-Locking Hall, determined to rescue her master's wife.

• Old Ironhead shared his story of losing Tie Daniu and Tie Xiaozhu to the Heaven-Chosen Sacrifice and the arm he lost trying to find them.

White Snow and her elite squad infiltrated the Star-Locking Hall through an underground channel, uncovering evidence of mass sacrifice and Old Ironhead's long-lost son among the dead. They reached an altar where Qing Feng was still alive, bound to a pillar.

• White Snow led Old Ironhead, Tie Xiaoqi, the bearded man, and the other elites through a blood-stained underground channel while Tie Xiaoqi disarmed its traps.
• Old Ironhead recognized a carving left by Tie Daniu, realizing the channel was the route used to bring captives in twenty years earlier.
• The squad discovered ancient living sacrifice seals made from the souls of hundreds of thousands of cultivators.

White Snow discovered the altar was protected by a deadly formation and crossed it to reach the bound Qing Feng, triggering an alarm. Surrounded by Star-Locking Hall cultivators, she faced Mo Huaigu, who revealed that someone else was in charge as the Pavilion Master’s presence stirred above them.

• Tie Xiaoqi used a bronze mirror to reveal that the altar floor held a lethal formation, and White Snow used her Star Pupil to find a narrow path through it.
• White Snow crossed the trapped floor alone, then forced her way through the formation’s final barrier with her Star Phoenix Flame and landed beside Qing Feng.
• Dozens of black-robed cultivators surrounded White Snow and Qing Feng, while more than a hundred others pinned down Old Ironhead and Tie Xiaoqi outside the doors.

The Star-Devouring Demon Emperor possessed Murong Xuan, overwhelmed White Snow and the others, and began using Qing Feng to open the Star Gate. As White Snow refused to yield, her Star Phoenix inheritance erupted and her eyes turned platinum.

• The Star-Devouring Demon Emperor emerged through Murong Xuan and crushed the gathered cultivators with his pressure.
• The Demon Emperor wounded Mo Huaigu and revealed that the Pavilion Master Mo Huaigu had served was never Murong Xuan.

White Snow and the rogue cultivators fought to stop the Star-Devouring Demon Emperor from draining Qing Feng, but Old Ironhead and Mo Huaigu died after helping expose a path to the altar’s center. White Snow reached the Demon Emperor beneath Qing Feng’s pillar, exhausted and wounded, and waited desperately for her mistress to wake.

• White Snow and the rogue cultivators formed a defensive circle while the Star-Devouring Demon Emperor’s chanting strengthened the runes binding Qing Feng.
• Tie Xiaoqi’s explosives opened a gap in the attackers, and Old Ironhead detonated the altar’s hidden channels, disrupting the Demon Emperor’s chant.

• As the Demon Emperor’s black fog entered her heart, White Snow remembered her family, Old Ironhead’s words, and her promise that rogue cultivators were not ants.
• White Snow’s bloodline awakened, merging the inheritance with the Purple Cauldron Heart Method and transforming her into a vast, golden-feathered Star Phoenix.

White Snow and Ye Han joined forces with Tie Xiaoqi to wound the Demon Emperor in the Star-Locking Hall. As their attack sent him crashing into the Star Gate, he began draining Qing Feng’s life force to destroy them all.

• White Snow and Ye Han attacked the Demon Emperor with the Purple Cauldron while Tie Xiaoqi defended them from black-robed cultivators and struck the Demon Emperor with bombs and arrows.
• White Snow and Ye Han combined their powers to injure the Demon Emperor and expose Murong Xuan’s rotted body and the sacrificial core in his chest.
• The Demon Emperor activated the sacrificial runes and overwhelmed the hall with black fog, but White Snow and Ye Han fused their powers into the Star Phoenix Incineration attack.

White Snow, Ye Han, and Tie Xiaoqi destroyed the sacrificial formation and defeated the Demon Emperor, saving Qing Feng. As the Star-Locking Hall collapsed, White Snow sheltered Tie Xiaoqi and Qing Feng and prepared to lead them out.

• White Snow attacked the chains binding Qing Feng while Ye Han trapped the Demon Emperor with the Purple Cauldron.
• Tie Xiaoqi identified the seventh stone pillar as the formation's weak point and used Old Ironhead's modified Dragon-Cutting Thread to break it.

After the Star-Locking Hall collapsed, White Snow reunited with Qing Feng, Ye Han, and her allies on the Ten Thousand Stars Wasteland. As the survivors recovered from the battle, White Snow appointed Tie Xiaoqi to lead the Mechanism Hall.

• White Snow carried Qing Feng out of the collapsing hall, and Qing Feng briefly woke to tell her she had grown prettier before Jade Orchid said she needed half a month of rest.

Ten days after Star-Locking Hall fell, White Snow and Ye Han helped establish Star Phoenix City as a home for rogue cultivators. With the city recovering, they set out with the five master's wives through a gateway to the Upper Realm, leaving Star Phoenix City behind for a new journey.

• White Snow became Star Phoenix City's Guardian after a young cultivator mistook her for Lady Star Phoenix, and Ye Han teased her about the title.
