Background / History

Green Ox Village and Ye Han’s Entry into Cultivation

In Green Ox Village, Lan Qing was the only person Ye Han remembered as treating him well. He taught the boy to read and write, while Ye Han washed his clothes and prepared his meals. When Ye Han sought his advice before leaving the village, Lan Qing had already moved away 4 945.

Ye Han found him again in Parasol Tree Town, entering the Happy Red Courtyard. Lan Qing later rescued him from four attacking beggars, killed the assailants, and carried him to another alley with a sweep of his sleeve. Questioning Ye Han about the female immortal revealed that Lan Qing had left the village after learning of her presence 4 5 6.

Lan Qing inspected the objects Ye Han had taken from the monster’s cave. He valued and took the silk but casually dismissed the small stone cauldron. Although he refused to personally fund Ye Han’s cultivation, he identified the boy’s spiritual roots and explained the significance of the Azure Mystic Token. His subsequent letter and arrangements helped Ye Han enter the Azure Profound Sect 6 91 945.

His reason for staying in Green Ox Village remained unclear to Ye Han. Much later, Lan Qing confirmed that his recommendation of the Azure Profound Sect had been deliberate: he knew the sect was more important than its outward weakness suggested 1152 1355.

Primordial Spirit in the Heavenly Secret Hall

When Ye Han encountered Lan Qing in the Heavenly Secret Hall, the teacher had already been trapped there for more than three years. More than a hundred years later, Lan Qing reappeared with a physical body identical to Ye Han’s. He explained that the Rebirth Gourd had remembered Ye Han’s appearance and recreated him in that image. He also confirmed that he was Storm City’s Daoist Ling 945.

The reunion mixed suspicion with genuine familiarity. Lan Qing served dishes Ye Han had once cooked for him, and Ye Han toasted him for teaching him literacy. Lan Qing acknowledged that their earlier association had benefited them both 945.

Unable to recover his original strength in the substitute body, Lan Qing negotiated another rescue attempt. The Return Expedition and Tower of Hell

He helped Ye Han obtain and refine the demonic treasures associated with the Demon God’s Eye, supplied a method for fusing them into the Gods-and-Devils Hand, and swore a blood oath supporting his promises of assistance. Recovery of His Original Body
