As he recovered, Baleful Yin Ancestor tracked him down, and Ye Han escaped by impersonating Bloodlight Ancestor and following the Compass deeper into the hall.

• Ye Han reunited with Ye Lingzhi and learned that Han Yuwan had led their fellow disciples away from the Fourth Elder’s sacrifice scheme before a Demon King pursued them.
• Ye Han left Ye Lingzhi and Qin Jiuzhen behind and entered the Medicine Garden, where he killed the Giant-Hand Bamboo Demon and took pill immortal grass and bright-spirit fertile soil for the Purple Cauldron Space.
• Ye Han found the Great Geng Sword Art in the Scripture Pavilion and later entered the Heavenly Secret Hall, salvaging materials from its mechanical beasts and soldiers as he followed the Gold-and-Silver Runes Compass.

Ye Han uncovered Wu Xuankong’s attempted possession, claimed his treasures, and strengthened his cultivation before defeating the wounded Blue Lake Demon King. In the second layer of the Heavenly Secret Hall, he encountered a Mountain Stone Giant, saw Baleful Yin Ancestor flee from it, and was approached by a mysterious cultivator’s primordial spirit seeking cooperation.

• Ye Han escaped Baleful Yin Ancestor through the maze and followed a compass into the Heavenly Secret Hall, where Wu Xuankong tried to possess him while posing as the Heavenly Secret Daoist.
• Ye Han trapped Wu Xuankong in the Purple Cauldron, destroyed his primordial spirit, and claimed the Immortal-Slaying Yin-Yang Sword Formation, the Nine-Turn Vajra Art, and other treasures.
• Ye Han studied Wu Xuankong’s possessions, discovered a map of the Heavenly Secret Hall, and cultivated the Nine-Turn Vajra Art and Great Geng Sword Art while raising Blood-Spotted Ants.
• After nearly two years of seclusion, Ye Han sensed the Blue Lake Demon King entering the second layer and lured him into the Immortal-Slaying Yin-Yang Sword Formation.

Ye Han allied with Old Fox, refined puppets, and crossed the second layer’s dangers to reach the Inheritance Tower. After solving the Metal Block trial, he entered the third layer and escaped Baleful Yin Ancestor’s pursuit, though Baleful Yin Ancestor continued searching for him.

• Ye Han cooperated with Old Fox, learned Puppet Arts, and helped complete a powerful Water-Wood Puppet.
• Ye Han and Old Fox agreed to refine and control a hundred puppets, then crossed the Restrictive Barrier to seek Old Fox’s body and the inheritance.
• Ye Han and Old Fox survived a Five Elements storm and escaped several Mountain Stone Beasts using their puppet formations.

• Ye Han concealed himself inside the Purple Cauldron while Baleful Yin Ancestor searched the Third Layer, then lured the ancestor into a trap using his severed hand and the Purple Cauldron as bait.
• Ye Han detonated demon-breaking divine thunder hidden in Baleful Yin Ancestor’s severed hand, then deployed his sword and puppet formations to defeat him.
• Ye Han captured Baleful Yin Ancestor’s fleeing soul in the Ghost Skull Mirror, collected his belongings, and entered the Fourth Layer’s passage as the Purple Cauldron reacted to something ahead.
• Ye Han discovered that the Fourth Layer’s clouds suppressed his powers and that the Hexagonal Cube could carry him through the air, while a Primordial Ancient Beast attacked him from the mist.
• The cube transformed into a cage, weakened and sealed the Primordial Ancient Beast, allowing Ye Han to regain his ability to fly and reach the passage to the Fifth Layer.
• Ye Han restored the Purple Cauldron with Spirit Stones and entered the Fifth Layer, where he stopped Old Fox’s Metal Puppets from attacking him.
• Old Fox told Ye Han that Darkwater Soul Beasts guarded the Inheritance Bridge, then offered to teach him a method to improve his Puppet God Technique, and Ye Han realized it was a trap.
