They turned, already sensing the barrier between the two deities' spirit worlds growing indistinct. The worlds had begun to merge.

"I'll definitely kill you, but we can work together for now. Once we discover the truth behind his escape, we can settle things between us."

But he did not dispute Lynn's words.
Even if they fought now, neither could destroy the other in a short time. And once the two deities completely merged, no one knew what sort of monster they would become. Since Seraphim had opened this spirit world for them in advance, that likely meant she, too, would struggle to retain her sanity.
