Beneath the Psionics barrier, a lump of flesh burned down to less than a third the size of Dark Night City appeared before them. Its writhing, charred blood vessels twisted, still thrashing as they tried to break through the Psionics suppression. But through Sir Awen's dimensional interference, a strange dimensional space had already formed inside the sphere of light.
The blood vessels it extended through the front soon emerged through the Light Curtain at the back.
It quickly discovered that it was trapped within a bizarre field that was bounded yet infinite.
"Gurgle, gurgle-"
The sound of its savage, struggling squirming rang out.
The sphere of light contracted further, forcing its body to keep shrinking. At last, Sir Awen's powerful interference with reality forcibly reduced it to something smaller than the plaza.
