The Sin Lord stared, pale-faced, at Lynn's blood-drenched body. She wanted to step forward and support him, but all she saw was the resolve in his eyes.
At last, she nodded and stopped advancing. A cruel expression suddenly crossed her face, and the dagger in her hand shone with a keen blade of light.
"You should have done this ages ago!"
"And one more thing! I was lying to you before! We proud vampires aren't afraid of water! Fish is my favorite food!"
The Clown Doll abruptly rose into the air as well, brutality flaring in its eyes.
"Go!"
"Leave this to us!"
They swiftly charged to the two King Beasts' sides, facing the army of thousands alongside them and leaving their backs to him.
But just as Lynn was about to turn away-
From the Light Gate to his system space, which was about to close-
Strands of leafy branches crawled out. They swiftly took root in the mud beneath his feet, and a little girl emerged, cradled in green leaves. Pure nature danced in her eyes. As her roots spread and her power unfolded, the wounds on him and the two King Beasts healed almost visibly.
"I remember you now... a little, Lynn. Whatever happens, you can't keep me in your pocket like a pet and make me do nothing."
Lynn shuddered.
He could faintly see a familiar hint of a smile in the little girl's eyes.
Though it was only a trace.
It was unmistakable.
"Why did you come out? You'll be corrupted!"
Lynn urgently moved to stop her.
But the willow-like girl refused. Gazing out at the pitch-black ocean, she brushed back her long, willow-leaf hair and laughed brightly.
"We're already in Hell. No matter when I come out, I'll become the blood god of desire.
