Lynn narrowed his eyes, concealed within the Nether Sea as he observed the situation at the border from afar.
The figure did not linger in battle, retreating almost immediately after each strike.
She seemed to be trying to lure that enormous Chaos Creature downstream along the Nether Sea this way.
Although her attacks were terrifying, they could hardly inflict any significant damage on that Chaos Creature. In this deep space, Chaos Creatures were practically impossible to kill, as the endless power of chaos around them could continually replenish their losses and mass.
"Who exactly is that?"
Clown's breathing quickened.
She could move freely through Chaos Deep Space, and judging by the sword strike she had just unleashed, her strength absolutely surpassed that of Jailers like them by a vast margin.
She moved incredibly fast.
Almost within the time they spent watching, she had already traveled a considerable distance along the edge of the Nether Sea.
They thought they were well hidden.
Yet just as that figure passed them in the opposite direction, with the surging Nether Sea between them, Lynn clearly saw the blue-haired figure wearing a demon mask glance their way.
The storm churned.
At that moment, across an immense distance, Lynn's gaze met hers.
And he did not know whether it was his imagination.
He vaguely sensed a flicker of surprise in the eyes beneath that mask.
But it lasted only an instant.
The surging waves of matter raised by the Nether Sea cut them off from one another, and the figure vanished from sight.
In the silence.
The enormous Chaos Creature moved along the border, gradually passing them, its shattered lens fragments twisting as they spread downstream along the Nether Sea.
"It's gone..."
Self-Binding Angel instinctively breathed a sigh of relief.
