She looked at Lynn, her gaze flickering.
But Lynn soon raised another question.
"Then what if we compare all of Chaos Deep Space with the River of Time?"
Aivier froze.
Lynn watched her and adjusted his mask.
"Because according to this theory of how the dream evolved, chaos was the first thing to appear in it. The orderly world only gradually emerged much later, and only then were time laws born from primordial power, right?"
"If we follow that theory, time actually came into being after Chaos Deep Space formed. Then, theoretically, the River of Time still shouldn't rival Chaos Deep Space in scale, because Chaos Deep Space exists at every point in time."
Aivier frowned, momentarily unable to answer Lynn's question.
Because that touched on another point.
If they traveled back countless years, would Chaos Deep Space still be exactly the same as it was now?
But that clearly didn't hold up under scrutiny.
The birth and division of Chaos Creatures within Chaos Deep Space already proved that it changed with time.
Yet after only a few minutes of thought,
Aivier suddenly realized what Lynn's words were subtly pointing toward.
"Time outside the dream?!"
Lynn looked at her and said,
"Looks like you've realized it."
Aivier's breathing quickened slightly. She finally understood what Lynn was trying to say.
That was right. It wasn't as though nothing existed outside this dream world. The appearance of ether and that dream entrant had, in fact, already confirmed that conjecture for them.
And if that was the case, the scale of the River of Time went far beyond anything they could imagine.
Because they could trace time further back.
Before this dream world formed, time might already have existed in that unknown world outside.
And if that theory held true,
Lynn's gaze flickered
