At that moment.
Battle cries shook the heavens, as though every soldier inside and outside the Castle had been galvanized. Roaring, they launched a counterattack and charged through the bloodshed.
Aivier had no time to talk. She, too, soared into the sky, swept over the allied ranks, and descended above the battlefield. Together with the loyal demons fighting there, she drove the enemy back, tearing apart and crushing the Polluters' flying units in droves.
But she clearly noticed something wrong.
"Have you noticed?"
Even in battle, Aivier's eyes remained clear as she spoke to Lynn atop her head.
"Something seems off about everyone here. I was watching those angels just now, and some of the troops fighting on the front lines don't seem to be thinking clearly. Some angels are a little better-they still reacted emotionally when I appeared. But others seem to have already gone mad, their minds in chaos."
And it wasn't just the angels. The demon armies on the battlefield were the same, friend and foe alike.
Their reactions to her appearance were noticeably delayed.
The loyal demons kept driving forward and charging into battle. Even after more than half their forces had been annihilated, the Polluters' demons seemed barely affected, charging without fear of death.
Lynn's gaze flickered as he continued studying the battlefield.
